I came to the attention of the corn lobby today. I wrote an article that mentioned that HFCS and sugar were best avoided or eaten in moderation because they contributed to obesity, diabetes and heart disease and they sent me a bunch of propaganda for "use in future articles." They actually went to the trouble of looking up my home address. Can a hit man be far behind????

The Corn Lobby…. I don't care how many times you say it, with a straight

face, it still sounds like a failed Rock Band! LMAO /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

I found a gluten-free grocery store not far from the house! Not only that, but most of the stuff is also dairy-free and soy-free. I actually ate a gluten-free, egg-free, dairy-free, soy-free donut today and it was good!!

The fire alarm went off today at school. We DONT have fire drills during the winter

and never during lunch times, so we all knew it wasnt a drill. The temps today were

in the teens. Luckily for me I was eating lunch in the room next my SPED room, so

I grabbed my coat on the way out. The kids from gym class were out there in shorts

and t-shirts. Those poor kids. We had to wait for the Fire Dept to come and figure out

what caused the alarm to go off (they were doing work on the sprinklers, somehow

that caused the alarm to go off).

So, that was my little bit of excitement for the day /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

oh, and a boy who had a jacket gave it to a girl that didnt.

awwwww, chivalry isnt dead after all /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

At least you get to party after. We had our Christmas party at the hotel on Wednesday. While everyone partied in the breakfast room, I was at the front desk checking in guests. Well, some fool had to work and it was my shift. Lucky me!

In the meantime, the Northeast is expecting a big snowstorm, starting Friday night (tonight). By time time I get to the hotel tomorrow (at 4:00 p.m.), there will be at least five inches on the ground. Seven more inches are supposed to fall Saturday night. That will be a grand total of 12 inches on the ground in Gettysburg by the time I get off work on Sunday morning.

Last Sunday morning when I got off work, we had an ice storm. This Sunday morning, there will be snow. This is when I REALLY MISS SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA!!!!!!!!

Sigh.

I'm sorry about all the snow.

It's so weird that the South is getting slammed

and in New Hampshire we'll be lucky if we get

an inch from the storm.
