Okay I thought maybe you were losing it for a moment with your LAST post.

I've been a working fool. I wrote three articles and a business prospectus yesterday. Today I wrote five articles and I'm working on developing an employment questionnaire for a client. I only have about 16 more articles to go before Christmas, and I am home free.

I've been thinking about getting a puppy, but considering the uncertainty of Monkette and my employment, it just wouldn't be prudent at this point. We would probably get an American Pitbull Terrier which is the same breed as Nilla.

Awwww…a puppy. I've been having puppy cravings – but we already have three dogs. I'd probably have 20 if I could get away with it. I'm not the crazy cat lady – I'm the crazy dog lady.

Oh – I got side tracked. I actually logged in to say – It's snowing.

I think I'm the crazy animal lady--they keep flocking to my yard, especially the stray kittens. We have English Bulldogs and a Schipperke and I think my husband gets scared whenever we see puppies, lol.

And completely off topic…. I love reading people's bios. So everyone should fill them out, if only to satisfy my surfing curiosity, LMAO. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

Thats a cute dog monk, my sister has one and he is the laziest dog I have ever seen. You are lucky if you see an eyeball move when you enter the room /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />

We had a Schipperke. He was so sweet. Nice dogs!!!

Yeah – we went to the store I hate more than anything in the world today – Cabelas – and there were people outside with puppies. I'm happy to report I resisted – but just barely. Mainly because they were hunting dogs.

Nilla could have her moments of laziness, but for the most part is fairly high energy. Try as we might to "fatten" her up a bit she just runs all day long…at last count she was weighing in at 57lbs and she is solid muscle.

Schipperkes have incredible balance. Guess that comes from being bred as ship dogs.

LOL I notice my husband speeds up when we come across things like that, though he does torture me with a "Hey, look at those puppies" first as we're speeding away. LOL

We adopted a new dog last month. Our Irish Pointer was put to sleep a couple of months ago leaving us with one dog. I told my wife I wanted to pick out the new one. So she found a black lab that is about two years old named Hooch. He's now in our backyard with our catahoula named Anna.

My wife keeps adopting stray cats. She found one kitten with a broken back leg that she paid to have chopped off. So now we have 3 3/4 cats in our house. They are destroying the Christmas tree.

Monk, I'm so glad for you! /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Enjoy your time with Nilla, they really are our best friends. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Look at that face, I could just hug Nilla!

I could easily become the poster child for pet adoption, like everyone else.

Except, I can't bring horses into my house.

I did have a very small pony in my garage once. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

My husband wasn't happy.

I don't know that I was supposed to laugh at that, but the way you said it cracked me up. That's so sweet she adopted the strays. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
