So, Heidi mentioned to me that there was a comment about PUG's Website on Syfy.

One of their members said PUG's home page looked "too busy and was hard to navigate."

I'm just wondering how many people agree. Is our homepage hard to navigate? Is it too confusing?

What type of feedback do you have for us?

Well, I consider myself a computer dummy and I haven't had any problems with it……..

I think it's very easy to use.

I've never had an issue with it. Perhaps someone's resolution needs to be adjusted.

Thanks for your feedback. It's good to know not everyone is put off by the homepage.

That poster also said that the page didn't represent PUG well and it was a poor marketing effort. **sniff sniff**

We're always open to feedback, but I really didn't understand how it was hard to navigate … thus, why I asked everyone here.

Sounds as though your success has that site worried? If I can navigate the PUG

a 6 year old could do it! So I wouldn't put to much stock in a 5 year olds review

of the PUGs awesome home page! JMHO /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Feel free to send them my Avatar in response! Delete the current type and insert print that

says "Kiss My Pug!"

At first I had a hard time finding the bathroom… other than that everything's in place as far as I'm concerned.

I ask because I always see Google.com in the user's list.

I can't wait for the Google Earth haunted locations plugin for Firefox.

That would rawk!

Wow…I'm actually more of a fan of Mad Libs myself. Haters always seem to have a problem navigating websites and, well you know, life in general…this comes as no suprise.

I don't think that. I read the posts, over there. Maybe it's the red.

Going years back to ancient times when I was in art school. lol

Red can give an image of being too busy or confusing for some. What really is happening is your eyes get very tired from the color red. The eye being a muscle and having millions of light sensing cells and cones. Muscles get tired. Our eyes are filled with color decoding cones, so when we look at red, the cones that detect the red wave lenght become tired and fatigued. People will notice either consciously or subconsciously your eyes getting fatigued. Yelllow is even worse, it's the first color the eye notices, in any scheme. Many traffic sign are in this color for that reason.

So busy looking can be mistaken, if the color red is involved.

Sometimes my eyes just hurt a little from looking at the home page, but the page is not confusing itself, it's the color red.

The funniest thing about all of this is, the first thing about a web site you want people to look.

You'd have to look to comment. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> You were'nt passed over. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

The color red is a stimulant and has conflicting emotions.

Maybe that's why, there is occasional drama. /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

It took me a minute or 2 to get into the forums. Just so much information on the home page, I wanted to take it all in at once and couldnt. I think I might have a mild form of ADD, I cant do one thing at a time, I tend to try to see it all at once, and get frustrated at so much info in front of me right at the start. Just saying.
