Couldn't stand living in New England, the weather being the main reason. If I ever see snow again it will be too soon. I LOATHE shoveling. The best part of where I live now is, aside from Monkette, the weather. You have a month or so of rain and aside from like a week in the summer when it MAY hit triple digits, no humidity, it's cold at night (even in the summer time) and the breezes. It's kind of like spring/fall here all year round. It doesn't get overly cold or hot. If I want to see snow bad enough I can go up to the Sierra Nevadas. Now granted, the tremors/quakes and mudslides can be a bit of a drag but it's not a mystery going in, it's sort of part of the overall package. If its your time to go, it's your time to go, why not live somewhere to your liking? The only thing I miss, weather wise, from Southern NJ/Philly area are the summer thunder storms….it had been so long since I'd seen or heard thunder & lightning that it scared the hello kitty out of me about a month ago when we had a storm.

I really do enjoy living in Cali, the heat does get to me but hey I could not live where it snowed. I was in Chicago a few years ago at Christmas time, that was the last time I was in or near snow. I was a frozen duck, that was crazy, I was so happy to get back to Cali and sun.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE our weather here in California, except for in July, August, and half of September when it gets extremely humid where I live.
Other than that, it's awesome almost year round.

To be honest. I hate humidity too….August is a bad month here for that…thank goodness for air conditioning….i wished they made an air conditioned suit though that runs on rechargable batteries for those hot summer days in the cemeteries…sounds like a good job for Ryan…Hey Ryan put down your emf detector and make me an air conditioner suit…. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

all those people, and the sun beating down on me…

Seriously, I can be bundled up in sweats and wrapped in a blanket and my hands and
feet are still ice blocks. And I refuse to wear a hat and gloves to stay warm in my house. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='

I just can't get warm when it's cold outside. David will tell you, I stay cold all winter no
