Offlineyes, an instant heat wave that will melt all the snow
immediately, causing floods and heck, throw in an
earthquake and tornado for good measure

I only remember it snowing here in Cali where I live (by Disneyland) once. I think I was in high school and it snowed for like 2 minutes, very lightly. We were driving down the street when my parents pointed it out to us.
I've visited the snow, and when I took my son to Chicago with me on business a few years ago, it was snowing when we were on the Navy Pier and it was AWESOME! I should try and load up the video and post it. We were almost the only nuts out on the pier in the snow. And yes, we were nutty enough to ride the Ferris wheel in the snow too! It seemed like a good idea at the time. hahahaha
OfflineHas snow in Philly on Sunday, this morning it rained buckets then stopped and went to 57 when the sun came out. LOL

OfflineWe finally got the blizzard they've been threatening us with for the past two days.
Call me weird, but I love this stuff. I was white knuckling to and from a service call just a few minutes ago. Who needs coffee when you have adrenaline?
No point in living in a northern state if a little snow gets you down.

LOL
We could have moved anywhere in the States we wanted to at the time. We actually came close to moving to SC, but the idea of not living in Salem and near Boston was depressing, so we chose to move here. We'll probably "settle" finally in New England. I'm just not sure what state or city yet! We'll give it a few more years…maybe!

OfflineYeah but New England's road record isn't all that great.
That's because of the drivers…
I've never dealt with such a horrendous group of people on the road before!!
We'd get feet of snow on top of inches of ice in the snowbelt in Ohio and never had the horrendous driving conditions that they do out here. I think the people can't read the stop signs, don't know to stop at a red light, or they're just too ignorant to care! LOL

OfflineDriving in the snow is such a macho event here. I've seen at least seven cars in the last thirty minutes not able to make it up the hill across the street. Others see that they can't make it, but they go ahead and try it themselves only to get stuck halfway up and have to turn around and come back down with their tail tucked. /cool.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />
