All the cats eat Purina One now and seem pretty happy with it. I have to buy something for sensitive skin because, believe it or not, Blackie gets dandruff! What is good for one, is good for all! I like my cats shiny!

ETA: Spot did indeed come home! He was gone for almost a month and came home skinny and skittish, but he is back among the fold.

My Buddy who is still on the mountain somewhere and Blackie who is asleep in a rocking chair as we speak. They were watching it snow, I think.

Couple of things:

1. I calculated my dog's age into human years. He will be 79 next month! I was shocked because he is still so full of vim and vigor. I just hope that I can be in as good a shape as he is when I'm 79. Keep on truckin' Spencer, love ya buddy!

2. Since Spencer was a rescue I thought that the following is a unique idea in Australia to find home for shelter animals:

my favorite picture of Nilla, this was taken in Dec 09 when she came to stay with us around xmas while her owner (Monkette's brother) went to Mexico for the holidays...

She is soo beautiful, I want to hug and kiss her! Very regal and stealth. We named our fawn dob that passed, Kiwi, because of her coloring just like Nilla's

Since moving I am down to 2 cats (they are my children's cats and 2 dogs..George (Cocker Spaniel) and Sepp German Shepherd)
