365 days of gratitude and positive self image project.

I have created a new group/profile on Facebook: 365 days of Gratitude

I don't do resolutions cause it sets me up for failure. I just say goals so I can work towards something. I want to make the new year a better one for myself and my family. Doing this causes me to be in action, action creates repeatitive, repetition creates habit.

My goal is to have a change in self image, self thought and thoughts of those around me. Join if you want. Each day I will force myself to write something i am thankful for and one positive self thought.

I think this is a wonderful vehicle, Regan. I myself have been trying to live with an "attitude of gratitude". It is hard sometimes to find positive, but I try and most times find out that there is more good if we stop and recognize it. I will check out your group.

Thanks for posting it and have a great New Year!

Add: I make only one resolution each year. I resolve to not make any resolutions. Therefore, I have made a resolution and immediately broken it. Done and I get on with life!

I am thinking that if it goes well, I may turn it into a website.

Terrific idea, Regan. This is something I've always tried to do and it does make a huge difference. There are days where the only thing I can come up with is "the air goes in and out of my lungs all on its own", but it is something to be grateful for. On those days, you just go small. The truth is though, most days I have a ton to be grateful for. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Sounds like a great idea Regan. I need to remind myself how grateful I am.
