The second one was especially cute lol! Both pictures look great!!

Remember, dogs and cats are better than kids because they:

(1) eat less,

(2) don’t ask for money all the time,

(3) are easier to train,

(4) normally come when called,

(5) never ask to drive the car,

(6) don’t smoke or drink,

(7) don’t want to wear your clothes,

(8) don’t have to buy the latest fashions,

(9) don’t need a gazillion dollars for college and

(10) if they get pregnant, you can sell their children ..

Gene, they're so cute! One can be a handful, trust me, I know, I don't know how you deal with two. Plus you have another little one at home? How do you get anything done? lol

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

Somehow I manage getting things done…between laundry, dishes, straightening up, dinner…you just take advantage of the few minutes here and there that they stay quiet…good thing my four year old is fairly self sufficent so I dont have to chase her around every 5 minutes.

Wow, all three of your kids are adorable! Your wife is lovely, too. You are truly a lucky man.

There is just something extra-special about twins, isn't there? My brother has a set of fraternal twins (boy and girl) and they are the apple of everyone's eyes, even their cousins who should be jealous but aren't.

Having spent many, many weeks in the trenches taking the night shift when "our" twins were tiny, I feel for you and your wife. It's tough going, I know, but they are just so darn cute, aren't they? And so very, very funny.

Fair warning, though: they quickly learn to work together as a team to get into trouble they could not accomplish as singletons. I would tell you stories, but I'll let them surprise you. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

thanks for the fair warning…i bet they will keep me on my toes, but they have to get up earlier to get one by their old man…we've been lucky so far cause the twins have been good babies, they are now currently sleeping through the night without feeding, although the little girl is like her dad and a light sleeper, so i have to reach over and soothe her once or twince a night to get her back to sleep….the little boy, like his mom, could sleep through a tornado, so he does not stir once thru the night….we feed them at 10 pm and they are ready to get up at 6am when we get up….so all in all, we are lucky. We've pretty much seperated the duties…I pretty much solely take care of the girl, and my wife the boy….so its not too bad. I think if I had another baby (single) down the road, we could take care it it blindfolded……(after having taken care of two at once)

I guess I better update everyone….I have not been around much lately, and I guess I better explain why…first off, the twins had their last appointment last monday on the 4th. The boy weighed in at a whopping 14.5 pounds, and the girl at 12 pounds. I think they both will respectively take after their parents, the girl small and petite like her mom, and the boy like his dad….both are healthy and doing well and growing by leaps and bounds….

Work has been kicking my butt. Not only have we been busy, but I pretty much have been handling everything on my own as my father has started treatments for his prostrate cancer. He has a long 2 months with daily radiation mixed in with a handful of chemo, and needless to say it is kicking his butt as well. He pretty much has stepped back this past month and will continue to do so for at least another two. So that leaves me with zero free time and exhausted….

Just thought I would say I miss it here, sorry for the abscense and I hope to be back soon once things start to calm down. Hopefully I will have time to pop in once and a while in the meantime…

You are missed, Gene. Take care of yourself and that gorgeous family, and stop in when you are able.

It's good to hear that the twins are doing well. You have been missed, but we understand that you're busy. Come visit when you can, okay?

14 pounds already? Wow. My little one is only 12 pounds, and she's nearly 5 months old now. Be honest, are you spiking his bottle with some pureed steak? /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Glad to hear they are doping well.

They grow fast don't they …

I hope your dad recovers quickly, and so glad you stopped by.
