Terra Nova: This one looks interesting. Humans in the future have to deal with world ending pollution and global warming. So they start to travel back in time to the age of dinosaurs to re-boot the human civilization by beginning again. Sounds interesting. I wonder what they'll do when the meteor that wiped out the dinosaurs hits.

Can't wait for the return of AMC's Walking Dead, supposed to be a 90 minute season premiere (sp?) and Fringe of course!

There doesn't appear to be a whole lot worth watching. Terra Nova looks okay, but I wouldn't forfeit a show I already watch to try this one.

There's one coming on Fox that looks good. The New Girl? I like Zoey Deschanel, she's very quirky.

Also, I'll give X Factor a try, only because I love how acerbic Simon can be.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

I looooooves some Zoey, BUT don't think I'll be watching. I've already got a bunch of shows that I'm completely behind on…STILL.

I feel the same about the fall season. It's weird, summer used to be a dumping ground for sub-standard TV, but now most of the shows I would consider my favorites are on in the summer season – True Blood, Haven, Warehouse 13 and Falling Skies are all shows I consider on my must-watch list.

There's nothing really that jumps out as must watch in the coming season. Still, it'll give me a chance to free up some space on the DVR box finally by watching stuff that's been on there forever awaiting watching, (a whole season of 'My Ghost Story' and 'Through the Wormhole' for starters. It'd be nice to have some space to record something new finally – the rest of the DVR space is taken with the kids movies and shows!)

Some of my returning favorites are:

Psych…Boardwalk Empire…the 3 CSI's…Sons Of Anarchy (considering my previous career I shouldn't be watching this lol)…Hawai 5-0 (even though I hate re-makes this one is winning me over)…Blue Bloods…If I keep going I am going to use up all PUGs web space…

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

Talking of cop shows, 'Castle' is back in a couple of weeks. I enjoy that show enormously.

I think that and 'Parenthood' will be the only shows I'll be watching this coming season.

Edit: …and 'Community'. How could I forget that?

My father was a cop for a very long time and he NEVER watched police shows because he thought they were really fake.

Watching cop shows for me is like watching any work of fiction…I know they are fake and say what the h@ll…like when I watch some paranormal shows…

Terra Nova…seems to be interesting enough for me to keep watching…little bit of mystery here and there.

Oh and one week to go for the return of Psych.

Good to know there's another Haven fan out there, Drake. I watch that show religiously, but I haven't heard anyone else mention it . . . anywhere at all.

Haven watcher here to….those seasons are far to short. Yes, I know its cable but I wish they'd spend a little more money and make it longer. Like WH13 and the now on life support Eureka. Those syfy programers are….$%&@$. they renew Eureka for a new season and then like 2 days later come out and say the show is canceled after the new season.

Not much looks that great to me. I think as you age, you get easily bored. Seems like every show I watch, reminds me of a pervious series, it's all been done before.

Miss True Blood to the point of with drawl.

Hope Idiot Abroad is picked up for second season.

This coming Monday October 24, the show Castle startring Nathan Fillion is about a ghost hunter who gets killed in a haunted house. I wonder if Jason and Grant were consulted?

I think they want to make it realistic, so no probably not. BTW I saw a coming attraction for Alcatraz January 2012

I wonder how all these JJ Abrams shows are really going to do? I see he's trying to use some of the old Lost crew in them.

You get that some times with some of these directors where they develop " a stable" of actors that their comfortable working with (recently most notably Christopher Guest). JJ has had a bomb recently with that Undercovers, didn't quite make it. He's got ALOT of stuff in production so wait and see. I was never a Lost fan didn't see a single episode, but I have liked most of what I've seen.

I thought J.J.Abrams did a good job with the latest Star Trek movie.
