I'm reading Violets Are Blue by James Patterson. It's part of the Alex Cross series that Morgan Freeman portrayed in Kiss The Girls and Along Came A Spider. Fun read!

I'm now into the second Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) novel "Dead in Dallas". I enjoy her writing style and will probably check out her other series as well.

Oh, actually nope. It's reading the words out to me so I can rest my eyes. I'm not reading any books right now. Can't decide what I want to read. Perhaps I'll start again on the Dresden Files after my wife is done with them.

Finished "Her Fearful Symmetry" and am halfway through "The American Wife", not so loosely based on the life of Laura Bush, about a woman who marries a man who becomes the President. Its pretty good.

Eh, I got nothin'

Ive been trying to read Methland, but just cant. It's about meth addiction in Oelwein, Iowa, not too far from me. it just comes out boring and stupid. Meth is everywhere and why should it be shocking that is here too?

I'm reading "The Craft" by Morrison and "The Truth About Witchcraft Today" by Scott Cunningham.

So far both are a little slow going but interesting none the less.

Yay!

I'm reading a book called Vis Major by Martin Burwash. It is actually a novel written about Wellington that was recommended to me by a friend. So far I really like it. I'm also reading a Neil Gaiman book called Neverwhere on my Kindle for iPhone. I read it whenever I have to sit somewhere and wait for Tanner to finish something. Really handy…turn on my iPod on my iPhone and then start reading the book.

I'm up to book 5 of the sookie stackhouse series (the basis for HBO's True Blood)…very quick reads and really good. If you're a fan of the series, you'll probably like the books, but may not want to ruin the surprise on anything to come…I can't believe the time I wasted on those STUPID Twilight books, these are SO MUCH better.

I'm reading a text on feminism and how it changes from the "Rosie the Riveter" to the cookie cutter women that were protrayed as Donna Reed and June Cleaver to the bra burning women of the Women's movement.

"Where the Girls Are" by Susan J Douglas.

It's just me!

Hey Lit, hope all is well! I live about 15 miles from the Rosie the Riveter National Historical Museum, never been there, just thought I'd share…lol

I read a book every one to two days. You would be sick of me if I posted each book I read here.

However, I wanted to pass on a great site that I use to keep track of my books. It is called Goodreads (www.goodreads.com). You can create your own shelves by genre, author, etc. And, you can print your shelves or your entire list. For someone like me who reads voraciously, it is a great way to keep track of the books I have read.

They also have groups that comprise people with a similiar interest in specific genres of books. I have found a lot of books and discovered great authors in certain genres that I enjoy that I had not read before and, in some cases, had never even heard about.

Another great quirk is that there are a LOT of authors who are also members. You can become a "fan" on their Goodreads page and get updates on when their next books are coming out, read their blogs, etc. Also, they have a section on free pre-released books. You can take a chance on getting a free book before its release. They only ask that you do a review of the book for Goodreads.

All in all, its a great site. Check it out.

I am reading, "Heart-Shaped Box" by Joe Hill.

If you think you can trust your government, then just ask a "Native American Indian."

I am currently engrossed in a riveting work scope for a capitol

project involving the enhancement of an existing SPM facility. This

will all culminate in a facility wide ability to store, ship and maintain

a wider variety of petrochemical products. It was written by some guy

that for some reason appears to have taken on the writing persona

of the living dead. I think if I finish this today I will read War and Peace

again before bed time! /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
