Well here are my pictures...I didn't follow the instructions on the blog since I'm not a facebook member, i can't "friend" them. The guys in the service dept at Toyota seemed a little miffed that I wanted to take a picture of the box at all etc. The two local fire houses have gates keeping folks out and wouldn't open the doors for me to contribute there, so this was an all morning ordeal. I had a lady at Target take my picture, she laughed the whole time.

the facebook links don't seem to be working...or perhaps my aversion for the site has rubbed off on the pc and it refuses to go there? I will attempt to make a contribution anyway and don't require to be part of the contest as I'm not a huge fan of lovecraft...though I do have quite a few of his collected works. Pictures possibly to follow. The drop off locales are literally right around the block from where I'm sitting.

We took our "holding the toy" pics at home, but our drop-off box was in the middle of a very busy grocery store, right at the end of the checkout aisles. SOOO many people were watching me while I took the pics, including a few employees who didn't seem very happy with me, but I was all like, "Don't be intimidated, Lena, just take the pics, taaaake the piiiics, OK, now RUN!" /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

Hey Monk, sounds like we experienced a little of what you did. The other night we went looking for a drop off point at a place called Tom Moffit's Plumbing. We drove around looking for it for around 30 minutes, but never found it. I know we were in the right place, it's just that the building number they gave did not exist in that area. Felt like I was in the twilight zone.

I did find a location about 3 minutes away the next day. Very nice ladies there, but they did have a WTH look on their faces when I brought out the camera and started snapping pictures. Ha ha

PS: I'm liking the hat too. Plus I'm finally glad to be able to put a face to the name.
