Give it a test drive, you may be suprised. I didn't really have an opinion one way or the other...in fact, I was just too danged lazy to find the remote, like it alot.. To me it seemed like a guy who has grown weary with "playing it safe" and decides that it's probably time to get back to "old school" journalism, something he can TAKE PRIDE IN, more so than being content to cash a big check and be a talking head. He longs for integrity and a return to common sense etc....I was shocked. It wasn't what I expected.

I was thinking about watching this show but....the more I read about this show the more I started to feel that it was/is going to end up being a liberal sort of show. Not that there is anything wrong with that but being conservative as I am I think that if it ended up like that I'd be more frustrated watching it then enjoy watching it.

So for the hell of it, after True Blood I stayed tuned for the Series/Season Premiere of this new HBO Series called The Newsroom starring Jeff Daniels. BRILLIANT. Loved it....the first 9 minutes are awesome and the show just was lit off like a rocket. I'm not usually much for this kind of thing, but I highly recommend this program and am curious to hear what others think (to be honest I almost enjoyed it MORE then True Blood).
