" The Ghosts on 87th Lane" written by M.L. Woelm is not that great of a book. You know me, I devour books. I found this book in a thrift store, and thought "Hey .99c, can't beat that..".. that's a 1.09 I won't get back.

But this true, first point of view, account of paranormal activity in her home seems to drag on, about as long as her ghost has. It takes place in May 1968 until current date. The stories are written too quick with the account of the tales seeming rushed.

There is no logical time line as the stories and chapters move onward towards the end. She starts out doing a great account of details from the sixties to the seventies, but then chronologically the stories go downhill. So much in fact, that I lost track and interest in hearing her stories until the end.

I put the book down approximately 3/4 of the way through it. I think it's great that she pushed forward on her interest in creative writing, but, it's a dry delivery of "true"ghost tales in her home.

If you want short stories that are random at best, this book is for you.
