Maybe it's just me, but even the ifc movies have been bad lately.

Normally I can find something there good but no luck of late.

Yeah, it's Adam Sandler.. at his worst. It's all sex, body functions, more sex, sex and sex talk.

jokes that even my boys think are stupid.

I thought that SNL was funny about 2 Saturday's ago when ex vp gore was on…i only saw part of the show but it looked really funny. I'm spoiled I'm old enough to remember the golden era of SNL w/ Ackroyd, Chase, Murray, Gilda, Belushi et al.

I'm old enough to remember that too. I think that's my problem. It will never be that good again.

I didnt notice the down fall though last season. I really noticed it a few weeks back when they did

a skit about filming Rear Window, and the whole thing about Grace Kelly farting. It was so stupid.

After that it seems bodily function jokes have taken over.

I remember that! Those were the days! Those guys were funny, and we were spoiled by it. SNL hasnt been the same since.

I sort of believe that w/the advent/expansion of cable television there are so many more outlets nowadays that the talent pool (actors, writers etc) became diluted/diminished and we get a substandard product as a consequence. Sports are the same way, in the various leagues greed to make more money, they put an inferior product on the playing surface.
