I couldn't help using John McClane's quote from the Die Hard movie which reminded me of my sister begging me to go on that ghost walk. My sister has asked me in the past to conduct a seance and also to call out to the spirits which I totally refused to do. I also refuse to allow any ghost hunters into my home. I have been connected to the spirit world since I was a child. I didn't ask for this gift or curse as I look at it. I do fear the evil spirits and those that seem to enjoy to frighten me. Some refer to these spirits that love to scare the crap out of me as poltergeists. I don't mind the more friendly spirits that might touch me or bump my chair to let me know that they are around. I just tell them that I am aware that they are here in my home and to please knock it off. I do fear the evil ones and at times those that like to scare the crap out of me.

I think that I might have mentioned that ghost walk on a previous comment that I made. A spirit from that ghost walk decided to hitch a ride home with me. The spirit did take over part of my mind as I was kind of lost driving on my way home. I will try to find my previous comment if I made that comment here or on another paranormal forum. I was able to find a book online that I also have and I feel that I know who the spirit was. I will post the information in another PUG forum topic.

I have some old movie favorites that I recall watching years ago and I search for them online so that I can watch them again. Does anybody wish that they could go back in time and change history? What if the bombing of Pearl Harbor could have been stopped way back in 1941? What if the United States had more advanced technology like modern jet aircraft and carriers? I was just thinking about a movie that came out in 1980 that was about an aircraft carrier (USS Nimitz) that somehow through a time warp went back in time to 1941. The movie isn't very clear but good enough for me. The science fiction movie is called "The Final Countdown" with Kirk Douglas and Martin Sheen in the starring roles. I found the movie on Youtube and I am not sure how long it will stay up. Sometimes when I search for movies online for later viewing, I will put them into my favorites for later viewing only to find out the movies went poof...gone. Anyway, here is the movie. I hope that you enjoy.

I mean the series, not just the 3rd book, but it is just a romance novel with kinkky sex in it. and its not even that well written i dont think. idk.yeah it has its moments, but all in all, meh.

Greetings Everyone....time for another installment of Monkey at the Movies....today I saw "The Hobbit - An Unexpected Journey".

Firstly, I did NOT see this film in IMAX, but DID see it in that Real 3d or whatever it's called....save your money. I didn't see anything in the movie that I felt warranted the effect but that was me. I also didn't notice anything strange about the new extra frames a second PJ (Peter Jackson...because we're just SUCH close friends at this point) employed for this endeavor. The film was uber SHARP & CRISP, but the motion sickness...didn't notice it. As usual beautifully shot, the attention to detail flawless, make up, CGI blended almost perfectly w/real action just amazing.

I won't spoil anything but word is this is to be a trilogy and as such I suspect PG, Fran Walsh & Phillipa Boyens plundered Tolkein's other works to flesh out enough material to stretch this out, needlessly in my mind. Just like LOTR before it, fans of the book will be disappointed by the omission of great characters and the inclusion of others who may have only gotten passing references in Tolkein's works. So if you can live with the kind of tinkering Jackson did in the LOTR then you probably won't get too bent out of shape on this one either. If you DID have an issue before, weeelllll, better hold on to your hat. Essentially what they appear to be doing is laying the ground work for LOTR this is a PREQUEL after all.

I may go again to see it because it's just one of those films that has lots going on at all time. Was I entertained? Yes, Was I bummed at some of the character exclusions, yeah a little. But I am going to go see it again whilest on vacation just regular though not 3d.

I'd give it a solid 7 to 7.5 nanners on the monkey scale.

Throwing poo atcha from the balcony....

	The Monk

Saw trailers for Star Trek Edge of Darkness, a zombie romantic comedy called "Warm Bodies" (I think) and Tom Cruise & Morgan Freeman in something called

	"Oblivion", all looked interesting.
