There are many self publishing companies out there but there are also drawbacks to self publishing. Publish America is one of the biggest and you pay nothing. One problem with self publishing is they mostly publish on demand so the burden to get the word out and sell your book falls on you.

Sterling publishing does some paranormal or New Age type writings if they are good enough. The plus with them is they are affiliates with Barnes and Noble and they will promote your book and stock B&N's with it. Keep in mind that they will scrutinize your work very closely so make sure you are really "done" and ready to be seen by a publisher. That is pretty much the same with all publishers I guess and since they get so many works they will many times dump a good manuscript if it doesn't grab them right off regardless of how good it may be. So make sure all your T's are crossed and I's dotted if you get my meaning.

I am sure you will get some responses from those who have published works that will have good advice for you too. I am only going by the research I have done of authors.

I wish you good luck and hope you will share with the rest of us what comes of your efforts.

I was wondering if anyone knows of any good publishers for paranormal books. I am working on two books right now, both on the paranormal and both non-fiction. Anyone worked with any publishers? Or have any recommendations for good self-publishing services?

	Thanks in advance,
