Being an avid video game player, I thought those of us who enjoy them needed a thread to discuss our favorite consoles and games. I own an XBox 360 and am currently embroiled in the RPG (Role-Playing Game) Dragon Age:Origins by Bioware, makers of Baldur's Gate 1 & 2, Neverwinter Nights 1 & 2, Jade Empire, and Knights of the Old Republic 1 & 2. I'm sure there are others, but I can't think of any more at the moment.
As for DAO, I really like its story, though it does seem like you are on rails a lot (Linear story with no ability to roam too far outside of that story), and wish it was a little more open-world. I am enjoying the various interactions between the various characters, and I even heard you can have video game sex between the various genders. Not that I have partaken in this, but I'm sure it is many a video gamer's dream to have this included.
So, does anybody else play video games, or have a favorite game or console?

My boys have everything I think, but I have a Wii.
I love the Wii. My favorite to play is Tennis. Bowling
is fun too.
We have a lot of fun with American Idol too, but my
6 year old can kick everyones butt, and when ever

I have a Nintendo DSi. I love anything Mario Brothers. It's great that Nintendo has remade all of the classics for all systems. I will start a game and be hooked until I beat it. My daughter will sit and "help" me play for hours.
I used to play Sega all the time. Sonic and Street Fighter were it for me.

I'm still old school, I have a PS2. My wife has a DSi and loves the puzzle games. I enjoy the Castlevania series and right now am mainly playing Star Wars Battlefront 2, or rather my oldest son is playing it. He loves the game. We are talking about getting a Wii for X-mas this year. My wife wants it for the exercise and I want it for the Star Wars games.

OK OK, so we used to have the original atari at home. After that, video systems became too complicated for me. There are too many buttons and options!
I just like to sit back and enjoy playing the simple games. Corey has PS2 and Chad has Xbox. I have those little games joysticks that you plug into the tv and play. hehehehe!

If I play anything it's stuff on the pc…i don't own a gaming console, never really did. I like the Hitman series and Doom of course. Lucasarts "Outlaws" western shoot'em up game and this thing called Mortyr which is kinda cool.

Just finished Ghostbusters and Dead Space on the 360. Soooo loking forward to deadspace 2.

I play a lot of Battlefield: Bad Company multiplayer. BF:BC2 comes out the first part of March. I'm really looking forward to that.
I also have been playing Left 4 Dead 2, Mass Effect 2, and Halo 3: ODST.

MM: having a WOW moment?? 
i know i am dating myself, but i have loved gaming since pong. we have every system (well, my son does) except Wii and the newer sonys…too broke right now…and his xbox 360 has died at the moment.
i love rpgs ie final fantasies, esp the ones for the ds. i like harvest moon games. i really love the old mario platformers (i enjoy running/bopping things.) but my all time fav game has to be earthbound. it is just addictive imho.
mick currently has 3 nes systems, gb color, gb advance, atari 2600 and 7200, super nintendo, gamecube, nintendo 64, sega genesis, sega master system, sega saturn, 2 dreamcasts, sega gamegear, ps 2, 2 ps 1, ds…i think he plans on opening a gaming museum in his old age.

to be honest, mm, i am not a big wow fan myself: i found a lot of the players to be complete twonks. i love FF XI online, tho. i can't wait for the xbox to be fixed.
oh, and another xbox game i am desperate to play again is Fable I and II. i love those; being able to choose your destiny by being good/bad/neutral. and i miss my doggy from Fable II. /sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':unsure:' />
