I keep hearing that "Taken" is quite the flick. With a home entertainment center down upstairs, and a blue-ray player down in my cave, I haven't had the chance to view it. Without a spoiler, is it worth the rental?

Blue Ray and 7.1 won't save this movie.

Didn't like Grand Torino, either.

Righteous Kill, was not bad, though got bad reviews.

Pacino and DeNiro, I enjoyed.

Saw Transformers on Sunday, full of action. IMO a good popcorn movie, but not at 9 in the morning.

They made us many promises, more than I can remember, but they never kept but one; they promised to take our land, and they took it. - Red Cloud

I took hubby and the line wasn't bad, but again it was 9 in the morning on a Sunday. I think it is worth it, saw it on Imax, huge screen.

The closest IMAX is over in downtown San Fran tough parking….the other is in the middle of a rough traffic zone before heading out toward Altamont (yes that altamont)

My daughter and I went last week, when it opened. Went to our Imax, in King Of Prussia. Bit of a drive late at night.

It was worth going, but I still like the first one better.

I had that feeling of open eyed amazement when I saw the first Transformers movie.

Not so muich this time, but still worth seeing!

The critics are kicking themselves cause they were giving such horrible reviews and then the film made huge numbers. Hubby was like a big kid all quiet and into the film. I think with the second they showed more action, I kind of liked the second one but enjoyed both of them.

If anyone is interested, Religulous, a Docu with Bill Maher was quite entertaining.

Bill travels the world, dealing with religious faith.

If you know Bill, you can figure where he goes with this.

The International, with Clive Owen, was one of the better movies I watched in awhile.

Great plot, and my mind did not wonder once.

A thriller with suspense, intrique, and some great action scenes!

You popped in my head when I was watching, thought you would enjoy it.

I did.

We have our HP tickets for the weekend, excited.

It's a ritual for myself and my daugters. Crazy mother and daughter time.

My Minerva McGonagall robe is clean and found my wand. Flick and swish. /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Yes, we dress. Laugh if you will, I'll laugh with you, it's great fun.

We are Potheads, so to speak, and love the HP films and books.

I want to be a wizard! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Saw it, thought it was good. Don't worry I will wait and not give away any spoilers.

One question though, does it make me a bad person that I like the Deatheaters more than the good guys?

If I was going to be a wizard, I would definitely want to be bad.

The movie was good. Darker and slower than the others, but very good.

Chad … you are a bad, bad Sithy!

I hate to say it, but I cheer for both sides. I just want everyone to be happy. Um…people pleaser?

I like Snape. I think he is a great character.

If the books version of what's to come for Snape is carried off half as well as the literary character, Rickman could get an oscar…complicated, dark, broken heart and hidden motives? No brainer.

No! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I like the dark characters, at times better. They also have the better outfits. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' />

The wardrobe for Snape. and Lucious Malfoy is great. Kind of has that bad boy rock star thing going on.

I think Lucious Malfoy is just simply hot. Even his name sounds evil.

If I remember correctly Snape was a reformed Death Eater.

I could listen to Alan Rickman read me the phone book.

Just the way he says, Potterrrr. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
