Saw Despicable Me last night…funny light stuff. I'm sort of hit or miss on Steve Carell though. At least when he's doing voice overs I don't have to look at him.

Black Swan has been getting good reviews but is not playing nearby. If I drive 60 miles to Topeka I will probably have to hit the mall and a good restaurant too. Oy, this could be an expensive movie…

Apparently there's some racy scenes between Natalie Portman and Mila Kunis, how did George Takei put it???

They did a funny spoof on SNL this weekend with Jim Carrey. I'll try to find it.

I really want to see this movie. If you do, let me know how it was, please.

Did this have Anthony Hopkins, Alec Baldwin and a grizzly bear in it? If not, did it have Sly Stallone in it?

Stallone. I hadn't watched it in years. The DVD was still in it's wrapper.

I'm a bit confused that the movie The Social Network is getting so much attention lately. They are giving it all kinds of accolades and saying it is sure to win all kinds of awards. I saw it when it first came out and thought it was pretty good but "award winning"? Nah.

I watched Up In The Air starring George Clooney and it made me love him again. He lost me awhile back with his ubercool Ocean's 11 and it's offspring but I forgive him now. He just needed to get that out of his system, I guess.

I'm watching Eagle Eye right now- holy crap!

The social network was okay. I read the book, movie very similar. Mark Zuckerberg has no social skills, the irony. I think the guy's an a hole, one reason why I won't use face book.

Up in The Air was okay, but didn't get how this was nominated for awards last year, and I don't understand the buzz either with The Social Network.

Clooney's The American I thought was awful, and is on reviewers top 10 best movies of the year list.

He was great in The Men Who Stare at Goats, you just gotta go with it, it's fun.

I liked True Grit, Black Swan, and Despicable Me. Inception was fantastic!

For a dirty pleasure of violence, and the comedy of making fun of action movies, Machete was a hoot.

The American remake of Let the Right One In, was actually very well done, I was surprised. I adored the original.
