Have we discussed Transformers? I loved both of those. Didnt think i would, but my son sat me down and made me watch the first just a couple of weeks ago and I couldnt wait to see the second. It was funny, and entertaining. Thumbs up

I liked the first one more then the second, but the second had it's moments!

SPOILER

Isnt that how it always is though, with sequels? We expect so much from them and they never deliver. Still, I thought it was good. Got so pissed when they killed off Prime

My daughter, 5, almost cried when that happened. Heck, me too, for that matter! LOL

The second was long, really long, but I loved the first so much that the second was a no-brainer to go see. I can't wait for the third.

Yeah, I noticed that. There were moments when it really DRAGGED, I think I could have lived w/out the whole college angle but I guess they needed some plot to go w/all the special effects.

It has to be said that Megan Fox was dissing Michael Bay in the press not long after T2 came out and her own movie Jennifer's Body was about to come out and it was supposed to show her awesome acting chops….sister please….just quiet down and remain grateful to the guy who gave you're "acting" career a shot of nitrous.

Good to know that I wasn't the only weeping person. My hubby was like are you really crying? He just doesn't understand.

I cried for Bumblebee in the first one. Go figure I don't watch romantic sappy movies that much.

I do not watch romantic sappy movies. Hey we care about the Autobots, they are here to help protect us.

There are two movies that I cry every time I watch them, Forrest Gump & Green Mile.

i have to be really careful because i cry at DUMBO for heaven's sake! the kids used to laff at me…

my son is my connection to super heroes and i have enjoyed the XMen (not 3 as much) and i LOVED WATCHMEN. while i love Christian Bale as batman, i thot katie cruise was the weak link in the first one; i just don't think she can act her way out of a paper bag. dark knight was sooooo good because of heath ledger's performance (what a waste!). Wolverine was great too, with more of the back story betwn him and sabertooth. some timeline probs, but good nonetheless.

We have Taken at home to watch this week. We watched Side Sho over the weekend… I'm all about cheesy, campy, gory horror movies, but this one just didn't cut it! We also watched The Covenant which was fun. Typical teenage "horror" movie, but I liked it. Since we live in Salem, MA and the movie took place in Ipswhich, just a few miles north of us it was fun, and of course we can relate to the whole witch thing. Cool effects, too.

Loved Julie and Julia.

Watched Half Blood Prince again over the weekend.

This one has a very dingy look to the filming compared to the others, it did at the theater also.

Love these films!

Two movies, November 2010 and Spring 2011, when I read last.

I think they are still editing, and finishing.

It's so far away, these kids are getting old for these parts and I'm aging rapidly than ever. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Wonder how with the split also, I heard it might just be a to be contined thing.

But, still has to stop some where like you said.

Well I saw the "sneak preview" of Deathly Hallows on the HBP dvd, no great shakes there reveal wise that is (it looks like Verne Troyer aka Mini Me, will reprise his "cameo" in the very first HP as Griphook the goblin). I have a feeling they're going to do alot of flashbacks….possibly to flesh out Snape/Lilly a bit and give the background on the hallows themselves? I'd also heard that they were attempting to film the last 3 movies at once (ala Lord of the Rings) because of the age situation w/the kids. In fact there's a line where Dumbledore quips to Harry…looks like you need a shave. Speaking of which, how OLD is Dumbledore supposed to be?

Heidi, i don't think you need to worry about too much of the camping sequences because it will slow the pace of the movie down. All the money they're investing in this they KNOW that if the first installment TANKS it'll kill the second one as well and they can't have that. Personally, I can't wait to see the Battle of Hogwarts.

Part of the problem w/delays in filming of these shows is the constant change in directors. They've finally gotten some continuity as they've gone back to this director a few times now. We'll see.
