Has anyone seen Inglorius Basterds? I want to see it, maybe this week.

I haven't yet, I'm talking the spousal unit into going and seeing it soon.

It Might Get Loud

If you like music, and guitar gods it's good.

Jimmy Page, Jack White, and The Edge.

I really enjoyed Page and White, I'm a big fan! The Edge though looked a little lost at times, I think with the blues background of Page and White.

It's a docu, of them playing, talking, and hanging out.

I'll have to check it out on my own Monkette doesn't like stuff like that.

Took my daughter to see Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs. Super cute movie and Neil Patrick Harris does the voice of a monkey. My biggest disappointment was with the previews before the movie. We saw one for the "new" MJ movie. IMO, highly inappropriate for a kids movie.

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

I really want to see this – it was one of my favorite books as a child!

Well worth the wait. They really did it well and it'll make you laugh out loud more than a few times. My five-year-old loved it.

I'm taking my 22 yr old! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> Cloudy, and Wild Things, two of her favorite childhood books.

We will see both.

Hi Cowbud!

We did see it. We've been talking about it over in the Paranormal Media forum.

Did you like it?

We watched Trick'r Treat via Netflix and loved it.

I haven't seen Paranormal Activity yet, and I have a feeling we'll have to wait until it's released for purchase and I'll probably just buy it.

I saw a commerical for a new movie called Pirate Radio and it looks hilarious.

I also want to see the 3D Christmas Carol…

Did anyone else see the Fourth Kind? I liked it but Chad didn't.

Also, just got back from 2012. It was just what I expected. Lots of special effects, high drama, majorly depressing scenes, and even a few laughs. Chad liked 2012 better than the Fourth Kind. I did not.

Eh, not super interested in either movie, but I'll catch The Fourth Kind when it comes to my pay-per-view channels in a few months.

We're interested. I like Cameron's Aliens and Terminator films.

I'm hoping this will be good, also.

Avatar, Amelia, and Sherlock Holmes are on our holiday movie list.

I'd like to see Avatar but I'm afraid this is a kid's movie, based on those Japanimation cartoons no?

As I'm not a huge Hilary Swank fan, I'll stay away from this one. She's a decent actress but just bores me to tears. The Sherlock Holmes film looks pretty cool, although is it my imagination or are the trailers REALLY long? Long trailers concern me only in so much as it can be a sign that you're seeing the best parts of the film. Hope that's not the case. I've been on silent probation w/Jude Law since walking in "blind" to the talented mr. ripley. As I mentioned above I'm hoping that Avatar isn't a merchandising tool to sell toys for Xmas, like what Star Wars became.
