On the PC I play mainly in single player, though I do have my own multiplayer server which I host on my computer. I only turn the server on when I play, but I like it because I can give myself Admin powers which allow me to build what I want and never run out of blocks. I can also fly as an Admin.

On Xbox 360 I also play mainly single player, though on occasion I will get on and play with my son and his friends.

I hear it mentioned quite a bit on this other website I frequent and from what I've seen it would appear that they have a dedicated server. Apparently the server is key to what they are trying to do with the game.
