So im sure by now most of you guys have heard of the hype that is Minecraft. I just started playing this game before I deployed and i was just wondering if any of you guys played it and if so on what servers or just on singleplayer?

I've heard of "minecraft" but haven't got a clue about it at all. I hear it mentioned quite a bit on this other website I frequent and from what I've seen it would appear that they have a dedicated server. Apparently the server is key to what they are trying to do with the game.

I play Minecraft on both the PC and the Xbox 360.
On the PC I play mainly in single player, though I do have my own multiplayer server which I host on my computer. I only turn the server on when I play, but I like it because I can give myself Admin powers which allow me to build what I want and never run out of blocks. I can also fly as an Admin.
On Xbox 360 I also play mainly single player, though on occasion I will get on and play with my son and his friends.

reason im asking is cuz i think (once i get back in like a month) it would be cool for me to start up an online server were all the guys from PUG could hang out, however seeing as only one person here plays it =P this idea might not have been such a good one lol.
