I was doing some reading online about Charlaine Harris, the writer of the Southern Vampire Mysteries (aka True Blood) and discovered that ANOTHER of her series has been picked up.

For those of you who may not know Harris is also the author of the Aurora Teagarden, Lily Bard and Harper Connelly mysteries. The Harper Connelly line is the most creepy of them on a couple of different levels which I won't spoil here but CBS has picked up the rights so lets see what happens with that. On the strength of the Sookie Stackhouse stories I got into reading the others and they were all decent. Naturally the Sookies are the best, followed by Harper, then Lily and Aurora IMHO.

They haven't given a production date or casting info yet. Not sure how CBS will handle it or some of the peculiar subject matter, but I'm looking forward to it!
