heehee. don't worry about it! /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

Maybe it's just that I wanted the top to fall over, but I really think it looked like it was going to.

I am adding a movie to my great list- Precious. Amazing, but not for the faint of heart. Monique blew me away as the mother, Mary. Anybody else see this? Thoughts?

Agreed. It was the first thing I thought about this morning when I woke up. I really liked the "extras" they put on the DVD, too.

"Juno"

"The 13th Warrior" – I could watch it once a week, at least.

"The Princess Bride"

"Moonstruck"

"Drop Dead Gorgeous"

"Undercover Brother"

"Mystery Men"

(The last three are hilarious!)

What role did Kate Jackson play on "Dark Shadows"? I loved that show but I can't remember her. Getting old stinks.

Sometimes we think we've heard it all, and we just shake our heads and wonder what the world is coming to. Crap like this has always gone on. This was one girl's story and we really want her to make it, to break that cycle. I love the way they used the fantasy scenes that she created in order to escape the abuse as it was happening. This kind of defense mechanism/ survival technique seems to be a common denominator in people that can come out the other side from this kind of abuse. I'm gonna check out the boards over at imdb for Precious.

Wow … I love this list!

Do you like "The 13th Warrior", too? Hardly anyone I know seems to have seen it and if they have, all they can say is that it's too violent. I absolutely HATE violent movies and can't even watch crime/gangster movies but I absolutely love "The 13th Warrior". I have a big thing for bravery. The whole final battle scene just blows me away.

Love The 13th Warrior. The movie is not about violence at all so the violence that is there doesn't even bother me. I just love the "journey" the main character takes and how they tell this story. I actually have the video of this movie. Time to upgrade to BluRay! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I highly recommend it.

All I know is that BluRay allows us to watch movies in High-Def. The quality is outstanding.

The down side is that BluRay movies cost a fortune. lol

Has anyone seen "Trollhunter?" I went into it thinking it was going to be kind of corny, but I ended up LOVING it! It's a Norwegian dark fantasy mockumentary about a group of students who set out to do a documentary on this guy who's a bear poacher, (so they think), but it turns out it's not bears he's hunting. Way cool and highly recommended!

Will definitely have to check it out. Maybe tonight. I know for a fact it is on Netflix streaming.

We watched "Priest" this weekend and really liked it. My husband and I hardly ever like the same movies, so it must be good. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />
