I forgot how good Training Day was, I watched it last night. Denzel was great at being bad.

He really was great wasn't he!

I love Denzel, but the way he was in that movie. He showed all his range in that movie.

I remember first seeing him in the movie Carbon Copy, when I was like 12 or so.

He makes any movie good!

I want to see his new movie, The Book of Eli. I think the first movie I saw him in was Glory.

Yes, as soon as I saw the preview of Book of Eli at the theater I told Chad … "We are seeing that!" LOL

He really stood out in Glory. He really started gaining momentum then.

I actually remember him from St. Elsewhere…great googly moogly am I old, it also troubles me to admit that I remember Kate Jackson from Dark Shadows as my older sisters used to watch it when I was a mere sprout.

AVATAR (in 3D)!!!

One of the greatest movies of all time IMO!

We are going to watch it again, in IMAX, today.

Duckie, I love Denzel too.

Especially loved him in "The Hurricane" and in "American Gangster"

Couple other movies I like are "Gran Torino", "Harlem Nights", "A Slipping Down Life" and "A Place in the Heart".

Oh yeah, and "Road to Perdition".

Shutter

Shutter wasn't bad. It's strange seeing Joshua Jackson now since I enjoy watching Fringe.

Have I mentioned Dogma? That's an awesome movie. One of my favorites.

That is a good movie, I almost forgot about it. Kevin Spacey was amazing in it.

I don't know how the rest of you feel, but I think the oscars really miss out not having an ensemble cast award. Because there are movies that are decent, but no one stand out actor but everyone working together gets the project moving. The Usual Suspects would be a good example of that as would Lord of the Rings. I think the golden globes offers such an award but someone would have to verify that.

There are really to many I think are great to mention in one sitting here. I emphisise Westerns, War movies and SciFi in my collection.

Westerns: The Wild Bunch, The Magnificent Seven, Shane

Sci Fi: original Planet of The Apes, Forbidden Planet, The Day The Earth Stood Still

War Movies: Patton, The Longest Day, Pork Chop Hill.

Side Movies: Casablanca and The Maltese Falcon

I'm not always right but I'm never wrong.

The above are my opinions.
