okay, we're talking about stupid movies we've seen.

how about movies we've seen that we think were great

but maybe not everyone has heard of.

(so not things like the Godfather /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' /> )

Off the top of my head I can think of four.

Snow Cake

Welcome to the Dollhouse

The Station Agent

Dancer in the Dark

Any Simon Pegg movie…

The new James Bond movies with Daniel Craig are pretty good…

Since its the Christmas season, I love A Christmas Carol, and the version I like is the one with Patrick Stewart…

In my opinion the greatest movies are some of the classics

Gone With the Wind

The Wizard of Oz (it was a family tradition to watch every year)

Holiday Inn (Bing Crosby, love him, nothing says Christmas)

Silence of The Lambs

They made us many promises, more than I can remember, but they never kept but one; they promised to take our land, and they took it. - Red Cloud

And what happened to that movie? For years we watched Wizard of Oz as a tradition on Easter, and every year they'd air the original King Kong on Thanksgiving. Or vice versa… It's been a while since they aired the movies for the holidays, so I think I might have them backwards. How cool…we kind of share the same tradition with the same movie!

I think they have changed the schedule they show the movies, I remember my grandfather & I would watch wizard of oz & tell everyone to be quiet.

We're actually going to visit the Christmas Story house when my hubby and I fly to Ohio for Christmas in a couple of weeks. It's funny… We lived less than an hour from it for 30 years and never vistied it, but now that we move out of state, we're going to tour it. I'm kind of excited!!!! Will post some pics (if we're allowed taking photos inside) when I return at the end of December.

I just watched Soldier. I think it's a great film. Then again, I love B movies, horror films and anything scifi.

I write books. I take pictures.
