lolz i think ill just say i love william wallace from now on... might make me feel better =D. But i really dont understand why all theses so called "superstars" have so many problems in their lives cuz 1) they could have stopped this lifestyle by just doing unheard of plays or indy movies and 2) your f'in rich!

I think there are a couple of issues in play here. Alot of these celebrities are unstable personality types to begin with and are used to having everything handed to them because of their looks, ability or popularity. They get to Hollywood and the situation is made worse by all the sychophants and parasites in the entertainment business insulating them from the real world. These same people choose to overlook the celebs "foibles" (lack of a better word) because of the fame. All that money and fame really can warp an individual badly, add alcohol and narcotics to the mix and everything just gets amplified to a degree that some never quite recover. As their celebrity wanes and their "calling card" (whether it be looks, voice or overexposure...whatever)fades, you're left w/an individual who is incapable of relating to the rest of the world and is unaccustomed to being expected to follow the rules. I'm not going to sit here and make apologies for these arrogant people. But it doesn't hurt for them and others to be a little more knowledgeable and cognizant of the world around them and OTHER PEOPLE'S sensitivities. No excuse, fame and money shouldn't be a license to be so ignorant.

Alas, Mel was my favorite actor of all time until his continuous meltdowns. After the first time he apologized, I thought, OK, he had a bad moment that he is really sorry for. But, um, after the second, third, fourth times, I can no longer hold him in high regard. /sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Thank you MK, that's exactly how I felt/feel. I'm all for giving someone a second chance, but c'mon. If this were anyone else but a celebrity, they'd be out on their ar-kansas after the first incident. While not in Mel's "wheelhouse" for abuse I'm sensitive to that kind of behavior as I've seen the ugly aftermath of it. Having satellite radio I've heard the uncensored phone conversations w/his "baby momma" and it was ugly and frightening. Those conversations also veered into the racism arena as well (from him, not her). I can NEVER look at him the same away again. There's always 2 sides to every story but that was beyond belief.

I used to really dig Mel Gibson but have gotten over it. When I try to watch his movies now I have a hard time NOT hearing his anti-semitic or misogynistic rantings...ruined for me.

Harrison Ford hasn't been in too many clunkers, although, I must say off the top of my head I can think of 3

1-Hollywood Homicide

2-Frantic

3-Indiana Jones and the Crystal Skulls (or whatever)

Could've lived w/out these films.
