I loved the first one and have it on DVD. I can't wait to see the remake, if it is better than the first.

I don't know how it can be, lol. Not unless they pull out the stop motion. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I thought the original was a classic.

Movies seem to be stuck in remake land of late. It's very tiring, at times.

You would think there are some great writers out there, new material.

I guess it all goes back to money, and low risk.

I like independant films, stiil some clever writing there.

The original was classic! Loved it as a kid.

My expectations will be high. LOL

I'm super excited – I hope it's going to be loads of fun like the original. The stop-action is what made the first one so great – I just hope they keep some of the campiness and don't over CGI it.

RE all the remakes – it seems like Hollywood goes through phases like this – especially when there don't seem to be a plethora of good and/or original ideas. Or when someone needs some spending money!!!

I just read that Ralph Fiennes plays Hades and Liam Neeson is Zeus! Love both of them!
