okay, colin just had me wearing his 3D glasses

i had them on literally for no more then a minute and now

my "good eye" is aching. i fear that a movie that long,

by the time i take the glasses off ill be in so much pain.

i know the glasses are different now, but i dont know

the effect they would have on me.

i'll just pop over to symp or monk's house and try

them on for a while /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':blink:' />

I bought Coraline in 3d, love the movie.

The glasses they gave, sucked.

Watched Friday the 13th in 3d.

I found it different than theaters. Everything had to go dark, lights off all around to get any sort of effect.

Finally wore Monkette down & saw Avatar today...3d...i wanted to do IMAX, but it's a hassle as the IMAX theaters are a bit out of the way...i did pilfer the 3d glasses (teehee). It was just visually stunning bordering on breathtaking! I don't know if I could handle sitting through it again. Did anyone else notice that the "Hallelujah Mountains" looked like those old Yes album covers? Actually, I remember thinking to myself that there seemed to be a couple of homages to classic rock in the visuals of the movie, beyond the Yes stuff.

It's listed as number two on the movie grossing list, and has been out about one month. Amazing!

Oh, it was awesome in Imax wasn't it! I loved it the first time, but in Imax, WOW!
