Make sure when you use the post options such as size, color, etc…
…to put the opening tags at the first of the text you wish to be affected, and the closing tags at the end of said text.
Tags are anything that is surrounded by brackets [, with a closing tag having a forward slash / denoting the end for that code effect.
Example: This text is read. would be with the text "This text is read." in between the two pieces of bbcode.
The same would go for any other code which is meant to affect the look of your text.

Type your text. Highlight the text you want to hyperlink, and click on the little button with the + on it (to the right of smileys). It will pop up a dialog to enter the URL. Click OK. That's it.

I find that by just LEFT clicking and dragging to highlight the text you want to enhance. Then just clicking on what you want to do, ie. color, bold, link, etc, the text is automatically placed correctly.

I do this if I'm only going to emphasize certain parts of my posts (like bold, italicize or underline). What I normally do if I'm going to use the fonts, sizes or color options for the whole thing I'm writing is triple left click QUICKLY at the end of what I've typed. It'll highlight the entirety of what I just typed and then I click and choose what I want from fonts, triple left click again for sizes once it highlights and then again for color. ***please note this only works if your doing a paragraph…if you make spaces between your lines like this
then it doesn't work***

Ok figure I'd ask this here…(and exactly one year after the last posting)…but somehow my attachements section isn't allowing me to post pics now any larger then the size of sub-atomic partical. I think it started off at 500k of space for posting on here and now its down to 5k. Is this common?

I think Monk like many others uses Photobucket so our attachment files aren't used.

It use to be that when I put pics in this area over on that other site run by a certain channel that used to be called one thing and then another, I was able to just copy and past pics "here" but somehow I cant copy/paste here.

Sorry I'm just seeing this now….as Ryan rightly points out, I do use photobucket.com and this site (PUG) resizes everything automatically if it's a little beyond normal. Now Pooperdooper does something that really shrinks stuff down and I'm not sure how he does that exactly but perhaps that's what you're doing too? Perhaps it's a MAC issue??? As far as uploading stuff directly from your PC….i've never been able to do that w/out a "middle man". I need somewhere that creates code so I can post. I've been using photobucket since the board that shall not be named.
