Sad news, two locations in our state.

APART brings sad news to the paranormal community. Two locations within the Pacific Northwest have gone through changes within their board of directors.

The Meeker Mansion in Puyallup, due to unseen circumstances, are not longer allowing paranormal investigations once a quarter. They have made changes to their Director. All those who inquired about our quarterly investigation, they will no longer be happening.

(we would like to reiterate this has nothing to do with any team, or any investigation that has taken place. this is purely a decision within the new board)

Hugo House in Seattle no longer allows for investigations. They have are under new personnel and feel that investigations do not represent their mission statement any further.

Sorry to hear about both. Especially Meeker, which holds special significance for me as my first paranormal investigation (with APART of WA, who were kind enough to take me).

I am noticing this trend all over, more and more. Unfortunately, with locales around here, it is the antics of amateurs that have caused this decision by local directors and docents. Casualties, no doubt, of the television para-craze of the last several years. Just sucks.

Maybe the economy, , people just can't afford this kind of stuff. /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='B)' />

I can tell you it's not economy on our end. I had long conversations with both locations, and money isn't the part.
