After much delay (getting the kids ready for college), we will be returning to the French Quarter the weekend of August 12-14. We will be staying at the Bourbon Orleans, one of the most haunted locations in the French Quarter. History of the site says it was a Monastary, an orphanage, and a civil war hospital at one time, and reports of paranormal activity abound.

Some of the more recent happenings are a worker doing maintenance at the site said a curse word and reports being slapped (nuns, go figure), sightings of a male apparition in civil war uniform, children running, and a lone dancer in the ballroom.

This should be an interesting trip, and if my wife can limit the hand grenade consumption, I might be able to set up a few small experiments and hopefully get some results.
