Oh no. I seem to be having website problems now. Just yesterday I was on there and it was fine. Today, it won't work. It won't load. I've tried republishing it and its not helping. *sigh* I've had a few problems with yola before, and I'm fed up. So, I am searching for some affordable web hosting. Anyone have any recomendations? It doesn't need to be fancy, just easy to use, reliable, and cheap! I'm thinking around $50 a year. Is that even possible? Or are there any more reliable free ones out there? Anyone have any advice? Your site looks great. I would like to offer a suggestion for something to do in living a haunted life - keep a journal. Some people find comfort in writing about their feelings and what they are going through, it is just a simple method to unload if you don't have someone to discuss the situation with. Another benefit is that over time it may be possible to identify a pattern.

I took a look at your site and it looks great. You did a wonderful job on it.

I think a place where people can just get advice if they don't want an investigation is a great idea. I have been doing this for years and it works out very well for those who, for whatever reason, can't or don't want to have a formal investigation. Many people don't even know what they need? Do they need a ghost hunter, paranormal examiner or a paranormal investigator for a formal investigation? Maybe they only need some advice to help them help themselves.

There are so many web sites out there that because of their popularity by being on TV or in the newspaper, etc., are just taken at their word. In my opinion, that may not be a good thing. It seems like a crap shoot at best. I have never and wouldn't take a case from anyone who hasn't interviewed other groups in their area. I have always recommend this and it makes good sense to interview several groups before deciding on who you want to do an investigation. It's one of the first things I say on my site.

I think what you suggest, a place where people can peruse many groups and ask questions before deciding on having or even needing an investigation, is a very good idea. I mean, just about everyone would browse the phone book for a contractor, plumber or electrician before making a decision. Why wouldn't you do it for a paranormal investigator? A contractor would at least be able to show you a license. What can a PI show you? People need to interview them as well as they would anyone.

Now I would not attempt to give you advice on what to do with your site. However, there is one thing that you must do to protect yourself. Take the time to draft up a good disclaimer. Do not endorse any of the groups that you add unless you know them intimately. Unfortunately there are groups out there that would try to use the opportunity of your site to build a false credibility. So be careful and I wish you success in what you are trying to do.
