If I could throw a pig, it would fly. Anything is possible if you look at it outside of the constraints of traditional thinking.

Maybe in an alternate dimension pigs fly! /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

/laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

If there's one thing I've learned, it is to never say never. If I put a pig on a plane, it is flying. And it's still a pig.

How about a cannon, can we shoot it out of a cannon? /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

To get things back on topic again.

If ghosts do not have to live by our own time constraints and you can indeed travel on the timeline, then why is it that ghosts never visit their live selves? If there is some cosmic rule against seeing yourself and loved ones still in the living, then why is it the ghost is never seen before or during the event, but only after? Does that not prove that they must follow the passage of time, at least while interacting with us?

Maybe they do go back in time to see themselves.

I've never heard of that happening. Maybe now that we've talked about it, you can expect to hear from yourself soon /wink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

Maybe most ghosts don't realize they have the capability of traveling (through time or location). Maybe they believe all of the assumptions they read about ghosts when they were people.

Look at how prevalent denial is in the living……imagine how much denial would be needed to

convince yourself your still alive and there might be a way back??????

What about the ones that do know that they are dead? How about the "guardian" types that protect the house or what-not? I can't understand the laws of what is outside of what I normally perceive, however, I believe that when anything is in our own "world" that it is then bound to the laws within it.

i'm with you on this one Zaxxon.

i dont think that ghosts can move along time at will.

otherwise we would hear about people seeing their own ghost,

or the ghost of someone that is known to still be alive.

Would not the ghosts, just be stuck in their time period (history) but in our perception?

I don't think ghosts, can move along time at free will. either.

People report ghosts wearing a specific time period of clothing, usually believed to be from the time period the person was living in.

Reports of the ghost doing certain activities they did during their life, or evp's in certain languages, of people who would have been there at the time.

Is there in our current dimension some type of window, that opens quickly and shuts for a glimpse into them and their time period?

Are we getting a glimpse of another time or dimension?

I've wondered if we trigger this, by investigating a certain place, looking into the history, thinking about someone who has passed, etc.

Can they feel us reaching out?

I guess one of the things to consider is this: Are we talking about a residual haunting or an intelligent one. And, if we are talking about an intelligent haunt, it begs the question – how aware are they of their surroundings? Do they realize that the place they haunt has changed?

Would the surroundings include other ghosts at the same location?

If the surroundings include fellow ghosts,( from the same tragedy)at the same location, are they aware of each other? Say the old ghost and new ghost are both intelligent haunts. What about a new ghost at the same location. The new ghost's life and death was much later in time than the other ghosts. Would they be just aware of each other? Have interaction? Or just totally unaware of each other? Or, is there some time limit on being a ghost, or a time limit on becoming one after death. Sightings of ghosts seem to be of people who lived, 100 to 300 years or so. The theory is the ghosts have not crossed over.

What about those who don't?

If the ghosts were in denial of their deaths, maybe they interact with ghosts, at the same location.

I"m just throwing things around. I have no reasons.
