I use to look for ghosts a lot to no avail. Seems I can only see them or have paranormal activity happen right when I don't want it to happen. I've tried ouija boards and everything, but eventually gave up. They come when they want to. One thing I can suggest is going out to supposedly haunted locations, maybe they just don't like the hang spot you picked. lol

Good luck though, it might take a while and you may regret it in the end- but the mystery makes up for it.

If you want to talk to the other side, I would suggest got to a medium that can do this.

	Just my 2 cents..

You seem to have my opposite problems. I want them to go away and yet they are everywhere, you want them to come and yet they are no where. For the most parts Iv heard/seen graveyards to be pretty dead (excuse the pun) for activity. They dont have much energy to draw on there, nor were they in any way attached to the graveyard (most of the time). Meditate and try opening your mind. Not sure on your religion but you could pray for it, or wiccans/pagans/etc have rituals/spells (or you can make your own) for getting in some good spirit contact. You may also try while meditating talking to your spirit guide(s) and ask for them to bring people forward that wouldnt mind showing you a quick hello. And like everyone else says dont try so much. It tends to close your psychic path and put pressure on yourself and possibly the spirits (you imagine someone expecting something big you dont know if you can perform).

All in all I wish you good luck and you sound very convicted in seeing something and Im sure one of these days you will. Everyone does. Its just keeping an open mind and eye (sometimes ear) for it.

Well, I've gotta give you credit for your conviction /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=';)' />

One thing I can think of that I had very good results with was using a microphone plugged into a voice recorder- and headphones to listen in real-time. A friend of mine actually did this on a hunt together in a local cemetery during a full moon. My best advice is just listen to your gut instinct. Relax beforehand- recite a prayer, mantra- anything that works for you that will focus and calm you down. Go with friends and just listen to your hunches and point the microphone in that direction. Don't be disrespectful, and don't invite anything to hang out with you.

Of course, be sure to ask permission beforehand!

	Hope this helps!

Jordan- it is quite possible that spirits have "visited" you, but you just haven't noticed. Most people, like yourself, expect the overt- the reasonable and rational. If you ask for something, you get an answer. Our brains can only process what we've experienced. If you're expecting a certain response, and you don't get it, that doesn't mean there wasn't one. It just might have come in an abstract form. Something your brain couldn't make out or pick up. Some people really are just more in tune with their sixth sense, and you just might not be that person.

I also agree to stay away from seances and the ouiji board, regardless of your desperation for contact.

And at the end of the day, they just might not be that into you.

I agree about the Oiuja board. I wouldn't touch one if you paid me. Another place you could try would be antique stores. Or museums with old artifacts. I've felt spirits in both those types of places. Churches, too.

I guess I'll edit this and add that I wouldn't do a seance, either. It seems to be inviting problems, if you know what I mean.

I have never seen a ghost, have never had a paranormal experience (besides seeing a flying saucer when I was young), and am just asking to be nailed in the face by a ghost or somethign along those lines. During this seance we turned all the lights off, and put a single candle in the middle of the table we were using. We then summoned a spirit (or at least tried to) by calling on dead relatives or anyone who would care to come and say 'hello im dead!' but to no avail. So then we got out a mirror and took turns holding it in front of one anothers eyes while we asked theses supposed spirits to interact with us. Even though staring into that mirror with it being silouetted by a candle was almost drop dead scary, nothing happened. This pissed me off immensly for i have even tried ouiji boards on top of someones grave but nohting seems to work. So I was wondering if anyone had any techniques for me to try that might help me see a ghost? Chanced are it won't work cuz nothing ever does for me, but im desperate people! Thank you =D
