So I have been thinking on the theory of ghost and their actuality for being. I do beleive in ghost and i know there are many out there that do beleive, but beyond simply beleiving in them how do we explain their existance, I know the main theory is there dead people, but if so how do their souls live on as in what way. When thinking of ghosts I think alot about cd's or records. I think of something routed onto this material and being able to be played over and over again. Well what if this universe is the same way and these "ghosts" are really just "recordings" on matter that we say is just the air around us… empty space. And in theory an object will always take up an empty space, so why wont our sounds and past actions, why is it that when we move we shift into a different space? why arent we in that space and the space before us at the same time? And more so why is it that sound does not necisarily fill up space? as well as light? It seems that these things could possibly copy themselves into this "open space" and from time to time replay themsleves? And maybe the person doesnt even have to be dead, what if the voices we hear are really just something someone said a few years back and its replaying itself like a hard copy on a disc?

Also even if the problem comes to play that you need something for theses sounds to "burn" on, well then look at the ocean. Its full of matter, and more sound and commotion comes from that than from many things. Could the water itself have past sounds and information written into it? Like a time machine that has just been churned to much to really understand what it has to say? Its just all so confusing, but all so intriguing, and in the end really doesn't have much to do with ghosts, but is still somethign very paranormal.

Most definitely with residual kinds of activity. I do think it is imprinted but not everyone can hear or see it, and the conditions have to be right. I like your thoughts about the ocean. It is always churning and I can only imagine the types of residual activity that would be playing itself over and over again. As for your time and space stuff, it will have to suffice to say that I am 'a bear of little brain' and leave that stuff to the Einsteins among us. Great thoughts to ponder, thanks for sharing!

ya, cuz if you think about it, there is always somethign around us… like this air, even though we cant see it it is still there, so it may be possible for something to be imprinted into it. Then it makes you think how it would feel if you were in a true nothingness, were you were the only true matter. You would physically be traveling at the same speed you were when u launched, but once you hit this nothingness you would feel absolutley nothing… even though you would still be traveling at the same speed you were before even if it was 1000 miles an hour you would not be torn to pieces cuz there woudl be nothgin working against you… maybe that would be an easy way to travel through space, as if we coudl clear all teh small meteor fragments in space in front of a craft so that it could travel faster and with less fuel than it already does, keeping somethign behind the craft to have somethign to keep pushign off againt, but eliminating wats in front of you so there is no friction, and nothing to make you feel momentum.

I think the spiritual world is all around us all the time. Maybe it is kind of like the Chinese representation where things on this plane are present, but greater. Or like the old saying, "As in heaven, so below."

And seeing as spirits supposedly exist in all times; past, present, and future, maybe it is akin to time travel, whereas we are hearing things from the past, or even the future.

Now, even I am confused. /huh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I'll confuse myself even more. lol What if…. what people are hearing comes from no particular time? Idk Could this transcend time and space?

Man created the measurement of time, does a fleeting second make that then the past? When does the past become history, the second it passes, or do we measure this by, generations or a lifetime. How long is the present? So, when does the future actually become the future?

I have no idea on any of this but, have always wondered…. where does the past, present, and future really begin and end.

I don't think you can have a starting point and an end point for past present and future because it is ever changing. What I can't grasp still is how lightyears are measured because of distance. My mind doesn't bend that way.

Plus, isn't Space-Time supposedly curved, or even wrinkled. So, that would mean past, present, or future could overlap.

Necromancers summon spirits to ask them questions about the past, present, or future since spirits exist in all times. So, does that mean we physical beings have a dual existence. 1) As physical beings here on this plane, and 2) As spiritual beings outside of time?

That seems to be the theory. I watched a show on the Science Channel about time travel, although it's been awhile.

I found the idea very fascinating. There were scientists on the show who had theories and formulas to support time travel in the near distant future.

Much of the show was well over my head, but the basic idea was… you could pull the fabric of time, around you, like a curtain, and move you to different dimension.

There was mention of our military experimenting in this area. Also, there was the idea this may be how alien craft were visiting us, more developed technology. The idea being if there were other life forms out there, how are they getting here, due to the vast area of space. Some of the planets with our own current technology would take us hundreds of years to travel there. The general question was how are they doing it.

Interesting idea.

This may be an explanation why some have a lot of experiences, while others none. I'm in the none group, so far.

Maybe those having experiences are unaware of knowing how to tap into this? That other dimension so to speak where things unkown happen.

There are just too many people having experiences to explain it away as nothing, imo.

Ya i've actually read into time with concerns with space, it uses an example were basically say you were theoretically traveling to mars, you would get there in 5 years but on earth it woudl be the equivalint to 50 years, so when you got back your sons and daughters could be dead and gone and you still a middle aged healthy man, which i dont understand but they say thats how it works.

I was just thinking how cool it would be if on 21 DEC 2012 all of these things would be revealed to us and instead of an ending of how we perceive time and space, life and death… it will instead be a beginning of new knowledge for all of us. I'm optimistic that instead of the world ending it will be changed in some way for the better--an age of enlightenment if you will.

Either way, there's going to be a party!!! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='' />
