In the movie Paranormal Activity, the woman said she has been followed since the age of eight. I've heard from others that similar things have happened to them, but my experience is a bit different.

Essentially, each and every home I have stayed in here in Sedona has at least one entity present. I don't feel I am being followed. Those living there with me don't either, as the displayed behavior of each entity seems different. It's like I've been drawn to certain homes, possibly unconsciously, where these beings hang out.

Does anyone else feel this way about their experiences?

I do think that you can be drawn to certain types of energies that become a recurrent theme in your life. Is that what you're asking?

I do think certain types of people attract them.

Could it be a combination of both?

I have a question for you, BR: each place that you moved to, was there anything specific that you can recall that made you think that it was the place you needed to be? For example, when you first checked out a place, did you get some overwhelming feeling that "this is where I need to be," or was there a feeling that attracted you to the home?

Tom,

This is an insightful question. Each location is definitely someplace I felt I needed to be at that time. In addition, living in one place helped that person as well by assisting with rent or house sitting, etc. Then, when a coworker needed a roomy for a few months, circumstances developed in the first home (eg, extended family visit) where I didn't feel right staying there any longer. Next, the roomy situation ended as their lease was up and suddenly they decided to relocate back East. Just as this one came to an end, another person said that recent changes in their lives created a need for help around their home.

Every time one housing situation nears an end, there is another that opens up. I see this as synchronicity, not coincidence. Being so, I usually follow the signs and go with the flow.

The flip-side to this is that those I have lived with were the ones that owned the home or if renting, it was in their name. So, they were the ones that picked the place to live and then later on, developments brought me into the picture. In addition to my experiences, I have considered those my landlords have experienced and wondered if they are doing the same thing as me… That is, moving into homes that already have a presence.

When I looked back at each of these homes, and the fact that something or someone is present in them, made me wonder if people are drawn to these homes for a reason or if the entities are really following us all. Two of the homes I've lived in were owned by the same people, yet the encounters suggested different entities in each home.

I hope this makes sense.

NoWhammies,

This might be what I'm asking. This stuff is new to me and I've only recently come to realize that there is some connection. But everything I've been hearing was that people had things following them. This might be a misinterpretation on their part or mine, which is why I wanted the forum's thoughts.

To take it a step further, the people owning the home tend to be the ones with the primary contact… or at least for the major stuff. They also tend to be the ones more afraid of what's happening. Even last night, while laying in bed posting this question, someone or something sat on the bed at my feet. I felt comfortable with it and let them stay as I typed. There's also been some sense of help provided those in the home. When something really hair-raising has happened, I've been there as a "stabilizer" of sorts, which is weird as I've never had interest or experiences with this stuff before moving to Sedona.
