Something very similar happened to me a few years ago in my kitchen as well. It was exactly like when you`re in the garden or the park and a plane or a bird flies above you, yet this time instead of the shadow being in the floor, it was on the ceiling. For years i thought it was just a reflection of a shadow from outside my house, but now i wonder.

Thank you for sharing this. Seeing that darn thing was the scariest thing that ever happened to me.

I tried every way in the world to prove that it might have been a shadow from outside but there was just no way to make myself believe it.

May I ask you if the shadow made you feel anything? Did you get any sensation from it at all?

It`s kind of hard to explain…i felt somewhat diminished, like i had shrinked (but then again it was a huge shadow so it might have been that). And it gave me goosebumps, but as soon as i could move i ran to the window to try and see what it was.

That's interesting to me. I also felt small and helpless, like a mouse must feel when a hawk flies over him.

Thanks for answering my question. I appreciate it very much.
