Ok, smudging, is used to dissapate negative energy. As long as Allan is a positive entity, you should have no problem. Now, if he is negative, you would be better off without him. Also, if you have any friendsnear you that are sensitive in any way, a fresh pair of eyes so to speak, would help exponentially. I can say that I ahve smudged many times as things seem to be drawn to my 4 year old that has been on the brink more than once due to heart problems and havve had a few "goodies" as my son likes to call them stick around. So, no I don't think that smudging will affect anything good in your life. So, best of luck to you hun.

Ok, thank you very much. I'll have to try this when I go home for Thanksgiving break, as I'm away at college right now. As far as anything negative being here, if that were to happen is there another way to dissipate negative energy? Because we aren't allowed to have candles or incense, and smudging would fall into the incense category.

Well, having been down this road myself, Ifeel almost obliged to give advice. No positive spirit is going to scare you, if by happenchance they do, they will remedy it. Now, I do not know what your religious affiliation is, but Iam Catholic, having said that, have you brought up God to the entity? Better yet, the Virgin Mary. 9 times out of 10, you will almost instantly have an answer. Aside from that, I would say smudge the place with a sage smudge, white preferably and carry a whitew candle with you to each room while reciting the prayer of St. Michael. Also, usually, a spirit will appear as they were in death, so, unless she had her face and most of her body cut off, she very well may not be what you think. I would use the "Jesus Test" Good luck

Thank you for the advice; I am Wiccan actually. I want to do the smudging thing, but I'm afraid that this would also take away Allan, my guardian, and I don't want him gone. He's here to teach me and protect me. If smudging can't remove a spirit guide, but can remove a himan spirit, I also would not want to do that, because Allan is technically a human spirit, not an actual spirit guide. (It's complicated...) So, does anyone know if smudging would remove Allan?

I haven't seen my guardian physically, ecxept once when he was see-through, but I do see him with my third-eye. I also feel him, strongly when he's close and the farther away he is, the more weak the feeling. I also hear him quite a bit; we talk on a daily basis, more than once a day. He is my guardian as well as mentor in all things spiritual, and in life lessons also I guess.

Yes, I have thought about that actually. I still wonder if the little girl and the negative presence are the same. But I am positive that my guardian is not connected to either. He has saved my life, after all, and he has helped me out so many other times, I trust him completely.

Did you ever think that all the spirits that you are dealing with (including the guardian spirit) might all be the same entity? I'm not saying that's the case, I'm just throwing that out there because I have heard where a demonic entity will disguise itself as many different entities in order to fool someone.

I've thought about it, but I haven't been sure if it is really something negative, or just something that I am perceiving as negative. If I did try to get rid of this, would this effect the other spirits in the area, such as the little girl and mostly my guardian? Also, I am not living at home right now, so it's not really a possibility at the moment anyway.

Oh that is a great question. I'm not sure if you can just "cleanse" a property of one spirit. Maybe someone else here has some knowledge on that.

She doesn't scare me. There is a negative presence in my bedroom, that always stands there, and whenever Brianna isn't there, the negative thing is. So it made me wonder. And, I think this was just me psyching myself out because what I had read, but after I read that demons will to appear as human spirits, but always end up materializing with missing body parts, everytime I pictured Brianna or sensed her, she sort of morphed into some kind of....creature. I think this was just my imagination, but since demons are not something to take lightly, I wanted to be sure. Whenever I ask her why she's hear, the reply usually is something like "I like you" or "I like it here" etc.

So have you thought about trying to get rid of the negative presence?
