Popeye Doyle (yes the French Connection, Popeye Doyle) arrested Redd Foxx in the 50s for dealing pot in my hometown w/the help of the locals, it happened on my father's shift and he was in on it. Apparently, Redd had been dealing backstage while on the "Chitlin Circuit" and the feds had been buying from him for months. His response when the police closed in was like something straight out of Sanford and Son…he put his hand over his heart and yelled "oh god there goes my f&*%^ing career". He had the whole jailhouse rolling apparently, made bail a split the following day.

Well, we did grow up in the same neck of the woods, or at least both within a few miles of Emerald Downs.

Close enough that if this was **** Valley, Wisconsin, we'd probably be related.

Which means we'd probably be sleeping together as well.

Technically, my high school was in Auburn, but it was really in the slummy part of east Federal Way.

OK, since Chad won't name-drop, I'm gonna do it for him …

Chad's great-aunt used to babysit Elvis Presley.

(Did I get it right sweetie? lol)

She sent Mr T one and he was very pleased with it.

I once kidnapped a cabbage patch doll, sent a series of ransom notes and ultimately hung said doll from the shower in the dorm because my demands were not met. The fuzz never caught up with me. I'm pretty sure the statute of limitations has passed.

I once kidnapped a pen and left clues to said pen's whereabouts for my friend who loved her special pen. Yes, this was in college too. Wow, must have been bored. LOL

I once sat next to a person at a MLB game that ended up being no one.

On the last day on the job at a grocery store that I used to work at, I stole my boss's name tag. My friend that worked there with me went camping with me and we built a nice little fire. We then sacrificed the name tag to the grocery store gods. The store was closed a few years later.

Elvis is supposed to be a distant cousin of mine. Heck half of the people that my family claimed we are related to I don't claim.

1- Elvis

2- Dwight Yoakum

Those that I do claim are:

Claudette Colbert

Robert the Bruce

Myself.
