Yes -- everyone needs to learn from JD and NOT MOCK THE BOX.

That meteor would have probably hit me anyway. And besides, living with half a head isn't so bad…..

Archaeology is the peeping Tom of the sciences. It is the sandbox of men who care not where they are going; they merely want to know where everyone else has been.- Jim Bishop

I think I must have mocked the box in another life…*Edit* After rereading that post, it sounded a little bitter and I decided to remove it. I will just leave it at "I think I must have mocked to box in another life" /ohmy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Listen to the newest podcast (podcast tab), and you'll know why you should. not. mock. the. box. Ask JD. He'll tell you. /ohmy.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':o' />

Have you listened to the podcast? Article out in just a few days!! Oh – and I've just started a "haunted objects" thread for a serious discussion of the box (and other haunted objects). Down in hauntings section – come on down – let's talk!!

This thread might need to be moved as well, mocking the box is neither a game or a joke.

Yeah, follow the rules everybody! Those monkeys can bite when they get agitated! Or fling poo! We don't want poo all over our brand new shiny forum. That would be way too much work for little Whammies!

Thank you for keeping the plight of the Whammy in the forefront of your mind before flinging poo all willy nilly.

That's probably the first time in the history of the world that that particular string of words has been put together.

I meant the Monkey might fling poo…not the rest of us! /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> I guess the way I worded it was a little confusing. It does kinda look like an invitation, or an order to fling poo. Sorry Boss Lady Janitor, the self-proclaimed spelling/grammar police is embarrassed. /sad.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

If Monkey flings any poo, Karen is cleaning it up! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

During the middle of listening to the podcast, I had to go pick up my oldest kid from school for having explosive diarrhea.

It was over by last afternoon. He's been acting fine since then. Also the youngest kiddo had been vomiting some lately. Both are acting fine and full of energy also.

Ryan, I hope the kiddos are doing well.

For the record:

I DID NOT MOCK THE BOX!!!!!

As a matter of fact, it doesn't come out completely on the audio, but I said, and I quote:

'Don't mock the box!'
