My Mom turned me onto it one Sunday afternoon and I hadn't laughed so hard in my life. As a closet Nat King Cole fan (inherited from my father who just ADORED him) what's not to love. It was my first introduction to Lee Marvin (although a few week's later my Dad turned me on to the Dirty Dozen). The whole happy birthday to you sequence is a caution, that and the big fight at the square dance…too funny! To anyone who who needs a few chuckles check out this oldy but goody!

Man, we are on the same page…….I love Nat King Cole, who my Dad also adored!!!! He used to sing his songs all the time.

My Dad passed in '71, so every time I listen to Nat, I think of my Dad…… /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Dirty Dozen is also an awesome flick. Marvin was a great actor….

You are correct MM……… /biggrin.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Just a guess /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> as that is in many movies but you had it in another thread so I figured that was as good as any to try /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I might be lying, but I'm telling the truth

I realized that before I posted it, but I was hoping you wouldn't make the connection……… /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

"We're closed for business."

Hmm, would that be from Legion?

(Just read your review of it. Tell us what you really think! /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':D' /> /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> )

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

That which is unchallenged and exercised as habit rapidly becomes ritual.

When this occurs, dissent becomes an object of surprise, if not resentment.

That would be it.

I find it hard to believe that anyone involved with this movie would think it was any good. I literally wanted to barf while watching it.

I'd say you're being dramatic, except I think I saw you really wanting to barf while watching the movie. hahahahaha

The number of eye rolls and "are you kidding me's" made you more entertaining than the movie, I think.

Wolfman, was okay. It had it's moments, but I don't think he'll be returning to the role

Yeah, LOVED Zombieland, but we're being careful around here NOT to mention the cameo appearance that stole the show so as not to ruin the suprise! I liked Columbus' rules for survival and how they'd pop up on the screen. The commentary/behind the scenes stuff was interesting too. Found out that they'd originally pitched Zombieland as a TV series to like abc/Buena Vista (Disney) I think, but they passed on it. But enough people saw it and thought it had potential for a movie, so there's a chance they could make another one as they'd written up a few treatments so there's plenty of story line for them to mess with! Here's hoping. I like funny/humorous zombie stuff but there's so little of it out there…oh well.

We rented Zombieland a couple of weeks ago but my wife watched it while I was at work and then returned it. She said it was ok.
