Gelid.

In the year after his divorce, Dawkins felt his heart like a frost-burned, gelid mass at the left side of his chest. It wasn't that he no longer believed in love; no, he was skeptical of the neurology behind that emotion. It would be a perfect time for a Dickensian 180, but life doesn't work like that, and his anger-driven misogyny would pulse and fade until he realized he had two cherished daughters that would need guidance, and really, wasn't that enough?

Gelid has only 5 letters, therefore making it a "little word."

"Supercalifragilisticexpialadocious" is a "BIG WORD!"

If you think you can trust your government, then just ask a "Native American Indian."

"Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage's whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men." ~ Ayn Rand

"Great men can't be ruled." ~ Ayn Rand

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable." ~ John F. Kennedy

Are we talking big word? Or just a word that probably makes you sound super smart?

Hahahaha we talked about this in my TESOL class: Masticate, to grind, crush, and chew (food) with or as if with the teeth in preparation for swallowing

Yes I giggle every time I break it out

My mom told me to masticate my food at least 20 times or else I would choke

And you could have it all, my empire of dirt

I will let you down, I will make you hurt
