I live in the Pacific Northwet (west) ...

Out on the Pacific Ocean Beaches you can see some "strange" creatures washed up here and there ... and all of them were common .. but were 'strange' because of time .. injuries .. bite marks that healed but that part of the body never 'came back' but they survived long enough to heal and so on.....

It will be fun to see what the answer is .. once and a very great while, Mom Nature throws a curve ball.

Also depending on how long the thing had been dead and exposed to the elements could distort it's looks. It looks like it's really cold, so that would probably rule out sharks, could killer whales be involved? Not sure if orcas can handle cold water or not. Most curious indeed. You know, the headline reads "another" and I'm curious as to how many HAVE been found. Is it seasonal? Are they finding these things only in the winter?

Interesting, to say the least. It's not a squid or pinniped for sure, even a landlocked simpleton like myself can tell that. You have to love some of the comments though. I like the one about the DFO taking so long to get there and them being only 20 minutes away. That seems like the norm. /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />
