OK, I found the video of Sci Fi Investigate recreating a hoaxed Bigfoot. If you don't want to watch the entire show, let the video load for a bit and skip ahead to about 30 minutes into the program. Like I said, so funny!

Y'know…I am still scratching my head about those two yahoos with the bigfoot suit in the freezer. Seriously. WTF was that all about? And how could the frickin' media have been all over that when the pictures of it were extremely clear that it was a bigfoot suit in a cooler.

The media plays to popular culture. C'mon Whammies, you know this.

True but there was so little intelligence involved in that whole thing. Surely they think the American public has more intelligence than …..

oh.

Nevermind.

The late comic Mitch Hedberg offered the notion that maybe Bigfoot is blurry, and that's the problem.

Completely OT: I didn't know Mitch Hedberg died. He was a fave of mine! RIP Mitch.

And on topic: I would love to find Bigfoot, or remains of some Bigfoot, for validation for my being totally creeped out by that BAD movie made about him in the 70's!

I think that if we find any unknown creature, it would be Sasquatch or the Yeti…there are legends all over the world regarding creatures like this…There has to be some truth to it.

I have also been thinking about the dragons lately. Why exactly would every culture, everywhere in the world have ancient stories about dragons? Some hypothesize that natives saw lizards and just went from there, but if that were true, we would have legends of huge flying chipmonks that breathed fire as well.. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':)' />

Did anyone see the "Critical Evidence" episode of Monster Quest last night? Very compelling, especially the mid-tarsal break in the footprint evidence and the statistical analysis of Bigfoot sightings vs. annual rainfall areas as preferred by primates. Great Stuff!

I just have to say … Boston Rob's Bigfoot recreation attempt on Sci Fi Investigates is hysterical. My son and I were rolling on the floor in laughter as he tried to bound across the open field as Bigfoot and kept tumbling over. So funny. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

I'll see if I can find the segment on YouTube.

FLIR technology utilized for chasing crooks through an urban environment has

rendered most criminal foot pursuits moot as to their outcome. How

come the same equipment is isused to the Forrest Dept. and they have

never chased even one upright Bigfoot primate. They use the equipment

while searching for hot spots in the most remote places. Chance? Bad

luck on their part? Why nothing better than the current evidence? /blink.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

JD, that does sound like a good show. I didn't see it. Darn!

After watching the ARDI show this evening I seem to keep thinking that BigFoot

would be a close match. Did anyone else think along these same lines? I just

felt that they were basically describing a BigFoot, Yeti type creature!

During my online research of Sasquatch, I came upon some very funny Jack Link's jerky sasquatch television commercials. To laugh is good medicne for the mind and body.
