I've only seen the movie for the Spiderwick Chronicles and I can't recall a pooka in there. I'd like to see how thick a book would be if it listed every single creature in it.

Yeah the movie didnt have one in it but in the books there is one.

I got to watch part of an old James Stewart movie from 1950. It's called Harvey and it deals with Stewart's friend who is a six foot tall rabbit that only he sees. It's a good comedy and I hadn't seen it in years. They mentioned in it a couple of times about a pooka. Apparently the pooka is a real mythical creature of Celtic origins. This is an interesting read, at least it was for me.

A six foot rabbit, that would taste awesome......did I type that out loud? It would also ruin the cattle industry.

Some associate them with elves saying that they are just a different type of fairy or elf. Also there is a recent childrens book that slightly refrences one... The Spiderwick Chronicles which seems to be a good book.
