I can't say 100% that Bigfoot does not exist but until I see actuall evidence...I can't see people say they do. After all the 'sightings' over many years no one has ever come up with a full set of of bones to show a bigfoot. Unless these creatures have a 200 year or more lifespan then there should be some bones out there.

Wow - it seems this "Bigfoot" is still being seen like the "Did we go to the moon?" claim.

1st -> How many decades have people been actively looking for Bigfoot?

I know of easily 50 years. Some actually went out on expeditions for weeks on end. Some did Arial photos and investigations.

Now with all those 'hunts' combined .. and yet not one piece of evidence.

NO -> Poop

NO -> Bones

NO -> "homes/Hang outs"

NO -> Food remains

NO -> Hair follicles

NO -> Territorial Markings

Now think about that .. that is a lot of NO trace elements of "Bigfoot" - except the always, easily "Blurred" photos and emo-stories/reports.

Even with the blurred photos .. the "hunters" come and amazingly the NOT one trace element of them being "there" except "emo stories" and blurred photos. Even foot prints in more of the cases, then not, are not found and for those few that are .. they "suddenly" just "vanish" - but they leave again, in these 'visual sightings' not even a single hair folical ... REALLY??? ...

As for my own opinion of Bigfoot, I think that Bigfoot just being the ghost of a caveman is more plausible than being an actual crypto.

Bigfoot makes people money. End of story.

These people in the LINK were trying to sell "emotions" .. not facts. There is a reason it unraveled so quickly. The "evidence" was simply being manipulated. Even the expert had at least some conviction to tell the truth about the Bear 'possibility' and well as they say, "The rest is history."

People "today" are tired of "Emotional Experiences" trying to be "sold" as fact or proof. Emotions only prove one thing:

A. You have feeling.

That is all emotions prove.

As for "experiences" -> We all have them, daily even. But did we take honest time with integrity to actually find out what happened? Or was/is the "experience" more important the the truth behind it?

People want objective, verifiable reasonable and truthful proof. Emotions and/or Experiences are simply no longer acceptable and nor should they be in the field of the "Paranormal" or "Bigfoot" or ...

Thoughts?

Notice what is M.I.A. in hunting Bigfoot, which is NOT the case with any other animal and/or Ape class animals.

Droppings. Notice we have never found B.F. Droppings.

Camps. Notice we never found a 'camp ground' - 'home' - 'community'.

LEFT OVERS - What do they eat? We know where bears even eat berries and such. We know where apes eat from trees and such. There are a lot of more then just 'trace'

Notice we've always find these with any other animals ... any and all ... Except we have not found one "Camp" - "Community" or anything else.

I mean they have to have mates - or are we going to say they are "IMMORTALS"?? They seem to run in "1" only?

Plus the other consistant fact is that the tracks always seem to go 'cold' -- after way too short a pathway ... way to short a pathway.

If they leaped to a tree - would see the heavier foot print showing a heavy jump and thus he would jump to.

Even during the Vietnam War, Special Ops used to live and eat as did the native people because they said they could literally smell us coming. So if a human could smell us, I would think a Bigfoot could easily.

I am not a hunter, well do hunting the human criminal count? Anyway... I would say leave all the normal hunter stuff behind and live off the land as does Bigfoot. Maybe if he/she/it/them doesn't smell or notice the trappings of a normal hunter maybe it will be seen up close or caught.

are severely flawed. Just from most accounts we can almost believe that these primates are not

communal in nature. We can also gather that since they walk upright and have large craniums, that

even in a worse case scenario, they will have an intelligence that will make them among the hardest

hunts ever. Their hearing would be attenuated to a very quiet environment while their olfactory senses

would be above average but certainly not as phenomenal as a bloodhound. I base that on the length of

the nasal structure from many pictures and artists renditions. I cannot venture a guess as to their visual

accuity. The only comparison for their sight would have to be gleaned from Mountain Apes of Africa.

The casts of their feet are another interesting feature that will draw any hunters attention. Large ,

wide pads with little or no instep, on the photos that I have seen, this would make them very stealthy and

very quiet if they were so inclined. By gathering the accounts as to their size I would also believe that

they would be very powerful creatures that could cover more distance in a day than a very well trained

human athlete. Foraging apes have massive strength that is unbelievable when compared to a human.

The only comparison I have ever read about is of the Orangatang.

Urban sprawl seems doesn't seem to be a real issue correlating their sightings. This in turn means that

a true hunt for one of these creatures would be very labor intensive, very long and almost impossible for a

human hunter on foot. Almost the best scenario I can imagine would be a still hunt that is very well thought out

and supplied with an overabundance of luck. The luck would be the creature actually traveling near a well

camoflaged hide and the wind not alerting him to the hunters presence. My only other suggestion would be

to use FLIR vision equipment from an altitude sufficient enough to conceal noise Only moving closer once

a target that could be bipedal has been identified. All of these ideas would be so cost prohibitive that they

would surely have to be funded by some organization or scientific group that could justify the monetary outlay

for research purposes.

I am fascinated by the possibility of a Bigfoot's existence. The possibility that a species exists that we don't know about is also a reality. We didn't know about the mountain gorilla until recent history and they are discovering new species every year. We listed the low land gorilla as endangered and they recently found over 100,000 of them. So I believe the possibility of a Bigfoot is more than just wishful thinking.

I am however very curious as to why everyone you see or hear about that is looking for Bigfoot, uses conventional methods for hunting & attracting a known species? (i.e. scents of known primates. Dead animals as bait, etc) Maybe it's not a carnivore or maybe it's not a scavenger, so why bait it? Maybe it's not territorial and a nomadic species.

Now I am no expert but I know you don't use the same methods when hunting bear as you would when hunting another species. In fact you don't necessarily use the same methods when hunting different types of the same species. So you can see why I am wondering why you would use conventional methods when looking for an unknown species? From what I have seen and read about, I don't think they have a chance of finding anything.

I'm fascinated also. I just read people's accounts. After reading the story on Pug, I looked around for sightings of Big foot in Pa. Curious.

I did notice most of the sightings of Big Foot were in the Kecksburg Pa area, and the county beside it.

Then I checked more current ufo sightings in Pa, same area.

I am not a Bigfoot researcher or hunter. I am however very curious as to why everyone you see or hear about that is looking for Bigfoot, uses conventional methods for hunting & attracting a known species? (i.e. scents of known primates.
