If you ever find yourself alone at night by a wooded area, or even in your own back yard, beware, for gnome one can hear you screaming when they come for you!

That's right, those small red hated fellows that work for companies such as "travelosity" do exist!

Video proof of modern day gnomes:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v…..JcFZifT2QI…feature=related

Is this the real face of Gnome- kind?

I personally believe this is in fact a real gnome due to the pointed hat, as it is known that all gnomes wear such hats.

According to the website <http://www.jodywallace.com/>, "While the unsuspecting human populace believes gnomes are statues, myths, ornaments--good spirits to guard one's garden or home--unfortunately this is not the case. It's true many statues you see are true statues, but a number are gnomes in disguise."

((Hope you enjoyed this- yes it is a joke))

I wish I could have found better research for this actually, I'm not apposed to the possible existence of fairy folk. (That is suppose to be a real video by the way- although I'm not too sure)

I've been trying to find out about gnomes lately for an up coming art project I'm working on, (Gnome village!). Does anyone know more about gnomes or why they have a silent 'g' in their names?

I heard they all moved up North to Alaska took over the

city council of a small city and dropped the G from the

cities name because it made it look to "gangsterish."

Gnomes are thugs! Everyone of them without exception.

I have it on good authority that Gnomes live behind

TVs and like to jump on beds. Oh, and they will sneak

out at night and tickle your feet when your sleeping.

They're also the ones responsible for stealing the socks out of your drier- although they usually prefer the left sock they take either. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Considering that I've been calling my ex-husband a gnome for years, I'm pretty sure they do exist. They just happen to be over six feet tall and get on my last nerve. /laugh.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' /> /tongue.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt='Laugh' />

Imagine there's no heaven, it's easy if you try.

Yeah, what's up with that? What are they doing with just one sock? I swear, it's one of the great mysteries of the world, lol

As soon as I answered this thread, the Underpants Gnomes song popped into my head and won't get out…

lol wow I like this thread, and of course fairy folk are real!!!

Gnomes are actually classified (at least by some people) under that of elves as they are just a 'sect' of elves. I do not have the book with me were I got this from so I can't tell you much about them. But they are like most faeries, at least the true faeries of eurpoe, and are basically mischevious little bastards who will kill you if you mess with them and stuff like that. If you want to do a face to face interview I hear putting a four leaf clover in your hat makes you see them =) best of luck!

Really? I have never heard about the four leaf clover thing? I'll try that.

Oddly enough i have recently gathered a small collection of pressed four leaf clovers- turns out i have incredible luck at finding them. (Do you know anything else they are used for?)
