Going along with the post I entered about the ghost train tragedy…an article about the proper ettiquette and common sense thinking about scouting haunted sites and safety issues that need to be adhered to….maybe get a seasoned investigator to so a small article about the proper channels to go through…just a thought.

This is a really good idea. Along with, what to look for in a location, perhaps making sure to scout the area in the daytime before going. But, I really like the idea of "how to" get permission, the proper channels for different situations. Like, who would you ask for a historical location vs a graveyard, ect.

totally agree too many rogues (including yours truly from time to time) making the whole community look like delinquents and i don't think it's a purposeful course of action just a general ignorance of the proper channels to gain permission, very good idea.

Stuff like never go alone. Keep a first aid kit and a cell phone handy. That kind of stuff.

Bert at NWPIA had an interesting idea – talking about how to eat before and on an investigation. When you think about it, eating certain things could make a difference on an investigation. Chili comes to mind. /smile.png' class='bbc_emoticon' alt=':P' />

I think all of the above are really great ideas!! My personal interest is in the history of a specific location and what possibly has led to the haunting or the paranormal activity. There are sometimes misinformation regarding the site and stories are made up. But to know the facts before there was any stories told of the paranormal. This way one would know what to look for when investigating.
